new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) Two secret words on a honeycomb: Hangman letters, Minesweeper numbers
Two words are hidden here (theme: Political Geography). You already have some letters of each.
Every closed hex is a letter you would match or discard. Grey hexes are letters already discarded, and each number counts the right letters among that hex's neighbours. Flowers are letters already matched (now up in the words; the two circled ones are the free starting letters). Colour does not mean right: if a letter is right, green goes in Secret 1, blue in Secret 2, and brown dotted letters are shared (a match fills every word that has them).
Only 9 closed hexes, each settled by one number. Then fill in both words.
From my game Melbees: The Secret of Bees (a wrong action costs a petal). The Daily Challenge plays in the browser, no install, same board for everyone today: https://daily.melbees.games/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=wordlespinoffs
The full game is free on Android and Windows: https://melbees.games/?s=reddit&c=wordlespinoffs
Disclosure, as the sub asks: the game is AI-assisted code, AI helped write this post, and the puzzles are generated and checked by a solver.

discussion (ai-assisted) Updated compilation of Wordle games and other daily puzzles
A few years ago in r/wordle, I created this compilation. I still receive comments on it there, so I thought I’d update it here. I’ve included attributions wherever I could identify who contributed a suggestion.
I used AI to help incorporate suggestions from the comments and check the links. You can see my original compilation and earlier updates in r/wordle.
There’s a mix of Wordle variations and other puzzles here.

new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) Snackle: Like Wordle but for Snacks
I’ve always been the person who spends way too much time on holiday trying the local snacks, so I turned it into a daily game called Snackle.
You start with a blurry photo of a snack and guess which country it’s from. Every wrong guess tells you how far off you were, and unlocks another clue. You get six guesses.
It’s easy on Monday and gets harder through the week. Today’s a medium one: https://snacklegame.com/3
It’s my first game, so I’d love to hear what you think.

A daily game: each day it shows a mystery S&P 500 company's 1-year stock chart, and you get 5 guesses to name the company. Free, no signup. https://tickrguesser.com

new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) Shotle Player Guess - Wordle-style deduction with footballers
I made a daily surname puzzle for football fans as part of Shotle.
You have six attempts to find a footballer’s surname. Each guess gives you familiar letter feedback: correct position, wrong position, or absent.
Knowing football gives you possible names, but you still have to narrow them down from the letters. The answer length is shown on the board.
It’s free to play in your browser, with no account needed:
https://playshotle.com/player-guess
I’d be interested to hear whether the surname pool feels like a fun twist or makes it harder to find useful guesses.
AI disclosure: AI tools helped with the site’s development, some artwork, and drafting this post.

new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) Layover - a daily city guessing game with six clues and six guesses
I make Layover, a daily city guessing game. Six clues. Six guesses. There is no map or street view: the clues describe what a city feels like, from its food and streets to the cost of being there. Play free in your browser, without an account: https://layover.certifiedlost.com/
I am looking for early players and feedback on the clues. Which clue helped you narrow it down, and which felt too vague? Please keep the city name out of the comments so other people can play.
AI disclosure: AI tools helped with the code and clues, and an AI assistant helped write this post.

new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) Trip Detective — guess a destination from a flight and six clues
I made Trip Detective, a free browser geography game. You follow a flight on a map and get six clues about its destination. Stop when you think you know it; earlier answers earn more points.
There’s a shared Daily journey, plus more journeys if you want to keep playing. It works on phones and computers, with no download or account.
If you try it, I’d like to hear what you made of the clues. Please keep today’s destination out of the comments.
AI disclosure: I used AI assistance with the coding and with writing this post.

new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) Cast Six: a daily movie-matching game, with a Pixar puzzle you can try here
I make Cast Six, a daily movie puzzle for the bit of your brain that remembers film credits. You see all six films up front. The challenge is fitting them to six overlapping clues, using every film once.
Here’s a separate Pixar round you can solve in this post. It doesn’t spoil today’s website puzzle.
Films
- Ratatouille (2007)
- Toy Story (1995)
- Up (2009)
- Finding Nemo (2003)
- The Incredibles (2004)
- Monsters, Inc. (2001)
Clues
A. Directed by Brad Bird
B. Originally released after 2005
C. Originally released before 2004
D. Had an Oscar nomination for Original Song
E. Directed by Pete Docter
F. Nominated for the Best Picture Oscar
Use original US theatrical releases. Oscar winners count as nominees; co-director credits count. Match one film to each letter, with no repeats.
Answer
A–5, B–1, C–4, D–2, E–6, F–3.
Deduction
Up takes Best Picture, leaving Ratatouille for after 2005 and The Incredibles for Brad Bird. With Up used, Monsters, Inc. takes Pete Docter. Toy Story then takes Original Song, leaving Finding Nemo for before 2004.
The daily game is here. The daily and archive are free without an account or download. On the website you get three checks, free rearranging and optional hints, with no speed penalty.
AI disclosure: I’m the creator, and AI assisted the game’s development, this post and this example puzzle. The game’s film facts and posters come from TMDB. This example was checked against official Disney film pages and Academy records, and all 720 possible assignments were tested: exactly one works.
Please use spoiler tags if you share your matches.

new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) I got tired of waiting 24 hours for the next Wordle, so I built one you can play unlimited times — with 1v1 battles
Hey everyone! Long-time Wordle player here. My biggest frustration with the original was always the one-puzzle-per-day limit, so over the last few months I built Wordle Infinite — unlimited Wordle puzzles, plus a few things I always wished existed:
- Classic 5-letter mode, unlimited
- Quordle (4-letter) and Octordle (8-letter) modes
- Daily challenge if you like the one-a-day ritual
- Real-time 1v1 battles against other players — you race to solve the same word, with powerups like Freeze and Ink you can fire at your opponent mid-game
- Ranked leagues from Bronze up to Solver
It's free, no pay-to-win. I'm a solo indie dev and this is my first game on the Play Store, so honest feedback (even brutal) is welcome — what would make you switch from your current Wordle app?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arnextlab.wordleInfinite
Disclosure: I used AI tools to help draft this post.

new spinoff (vibe-coded/ai-assisted) Otakana: a daily anime-name Wordle with answers from 4 to 8 letters
I'm the developer of Otakana. It uses Wordle-style letter feedback, but the answers are anime character names and terms. The length changes from 4 to 8 letters, with one more guess than the answer length. There is no dictionary check, so you can try names that a normal word list would reject.
Everyone gets the same daily puzzle. At the end, you see the answer, its series and a short explanation, even if you lose.
Try the free web puzzle: https://otakana.net/play/daily/
No account or download needed. The iOS version is also free to download, with ads and optional in-app purchases.
If you play, I'd like to hear how the changing word length affects your starting guesses.
