Here’s my entry for Creative Arts Link first issue, with the prompt: Worcester! You’ve seen my bee series (and if not take a look at my previous reels) so I wanted to featured them again but for this one i decided to integrate some of the local architecture to coincide with the theme and what could be more appropriate for bees than the hive? 😎🐝

This piece is not yet for sale but if you like my style go check my Folksy Shop: https://folksy.com/shops/miofiart

Hi! Recently moved back to Worcester and desperately need a haircut! I have a very grown out wolfcut and would be looking for someone who does a good cut of this type :)

It's been literally WEEKS and we've not had any post or even seen any kind of postie.

My wife placed an order with a UK company that ships Stamps first class over 2 weeks ago and we've not even seen that yet!

The service is becoming an utter joke currently, hell I'm even starting to miss junk mail at this point 😂🙈.

Why has the government not stepped in yet and reclaimed control back, it clearly isn't working as a private company anymore and will eventually fizzle out as people lose trust (and not be able to afford the insane price increases).

Is anyone even digging into this? Doesn't really feel like it. I dread to think if anyone's "priority/tracked" post is even getting where it needs to be.

Hey guys,

I've been trying to print this helmet from Halo, but don't have access to a 3D printer.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DYShVoaB_Np/

I'd like to print these scaling guides I've circled first so I can make sure the helmet itself is scaled correctly beforehand - as the helmet itself is 261mm x 329mm x 287mm and i'm sure it can be shrinked down a bit. Potentially it could be split too, to reduce print times.

I'm eager to do it locally as the scaling guides could potentially need a few attempts.

Would there be any hobbyists with a 3D printer just sitting in their garage fancy giving this a go with me?

If you don’t have time, don’t worry, all the prints are available on my Folksy Shop: https://folksy.com/shops/miofiart 👻

Hi everyone! We’ve set up a social futsal/5 aside session for anyone of any ability. A great way to meet new people whilst keep fit!!

Message me if interested 🤩

Does anybody have any recommendations for a local keyboard teacher? Preferably one who can teach some contemporary music rather than classical.

Hi Everyone,

I hate to be that person asking, but has anyone had any luck finding any Pokemon 30th anniversary cards in Worcester?

I know toys and games had some for launch, but I haven’t been able to queue up due to work.

I’d appreciate advice on places that are selling them so I can go and look after work or on the weekends.

Thanks

Hi Guys, I want to give something back so I have created a sound system for community use.

I don't charge for hire. If it is for a public/community event

If you know any community groups that might benefit from this please get in touch.

@blackpearcrew on insta

Thanks

sorted, thank you everyone for all the advice 🫡

I'm off to Kidderminster for an appointment tomorrow at the hospital. I want to go to B&M and Smyths toys while I'm there but don't know the area and I'm using public transport. Does anyone know much about bus routes or if its walkable between them? I've tried Google but it's a bit confusing so hoping someone knows the area :) thanks

I’ve been living in Worcester for over a year now, and I’m realising that I haven’t really built a social circle here. I’d love to change that!

I’m 34, a Black woman, and looking to make genuine female friendships with women aged 28+ (no upper age limit!). It would be lovely to have girlies to hang out with, grab brunch or coffee, go shopping, try new restaurants, go on walks, attend events, or just do random fun activities together.

I’m at the stage where I’d love to have friends nearby to make memories with and enjoy life together. 🥹❤️

If you’re also looking to make new friends in Worcester, please drop me a message or comment below. Maybe we can get a little girl gang going! 🥰✨

If you didn’t have time to grab a print yet, not to worry there’s still time! You’ve got until 17th October 👻 and if still not time to go or you’re too far away, there’s still my Folksy Shop 😎

Hi everyone,

I run a small Discord server for people in and around Worcestershire who are into gaming, chatting, and just generally meeting new people locally.

It's a relaxed community whether you're looking for people to play games with or just want a bit more of a social circle. We also run regular events, including weekly online and in-person game nights, so there's usually something going on.

If it sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to join here: https://discord.gg/kpJ4aHDscA

Would be great to see some new faces

I'm deaf, very deaf so speak up.

I have NHS hearing aids and I am full of respect for the NHS audiology department but what they are delivering to me doesn't work for me and I don't seem to be able to discuss what's wrong with a qualified audiologist.

So time to dig deep and pay a private practice.

Recommendations? Ideally personal recommendations.

Please feel free to use far and wide on the interweb, it is important that we spread the good news of Worcester

I’m new to the area (since July this year) and I am absolutely LOVING Worcester.
I do however, need a decent cafe (preferably independent), where it’s not frowned upon to buy refreshments whilst sitting with my laptop and doing admin.
(I’m not a “I’ll hold up a table for two hours and buy one coffee” type of person, as I’m aware that that won’t help a small independent cafe.)
Any suggestions please?
I’m in St John’s but I’d like to walk into the town centre itself (gets my steps in!) - so please fire away with suggestions 🤗

Hi, keen for recommendations for a builder - we are looking to refurbish our ground floor and make quite extensive changes (including a new downstairs toilet/shower room). Grateful for any recommendations of builders in the area who have experience of this sort of work, many thanks!

I am moving to this area from out of town. Is this a good area? I tend to go to work early in the morning (before 7 am), and would catch the train from Foregate Street Station. I sometimes come home late too (after 7 pm). I realise the area is close to the Rainbow Hill area, a post for which appeared a few days ago. Thank you in advance.

Come see MioFi art displayed in the fine art gallery in the shambles for the next two weeks!

Looking at moving to Worcester and wondered what sporting opportunities there were in terms of spectating and playing. What's quite popular?

Thanks.
