I can't explain how much I like his writing, his Diana , his arcs , his side characters , basically everything, his characterization is the best ever,I like his plotting too and his ideas ,his prose, his feminist themes, her personality at her peak, it's shame how we don't have omnibus of his books of Diana even after 30+ years, also Diana doesn't have alot of standalones the ones she has are either team ups/elseworld and most are below 5 issues.

I think it's time she gets the her critically acclaimed book that explains who Diana truly is to the core and her essence that is also an easy access to beginners ihink there is noone to do it better than William loeb.

I read the Darkseid crossover in Gal Simone Wonder Woman I think it could be adapted into one episode for Mongol since Darkseid is already with the new gods and Superman. Mongul is someone like Diana born into power however Hippolyta knows what it's like to be abused by people in power and has Diana sheltered from what man's world is like and the amazons despite being able to help and Diana leaves her perfect paradise and uses her gifts to serve a dying world that is the biggest danger to themselves as Apollo says.

Mongul is someone who is raised in literal war world and believes he is owed everything because of his position of power and strength. Horrible crimes like trafficking and murder is the norm to him he doesn't have any big motives and unlike other supreme ruler villains like Darkseid or Dr Doom he is pretty incompetent at running his planet keeping them distracted with fights to the death giving them something to hate blame there issues on then turning it to his poor management. Someone like Wonder Woman proves his childlike and vapid his beliefs even more wrong showing how little he really is she was born with power has far more reason to conquer the world or just retire to her paradise so does the Amazons and they instead grow from there mistakes and teach Mankind to do better. It also gives her rouges gallery more diversity like Batman and Superman have some more alien villains who still fit can do.

I’m not unusually one who posts something just to complain, but in this instance, I find it really bothersome that Wonder Woman’s 85th Anniversary is upon us and to my knowledge there has been no major announcement about marking this milestone.
