Community Maple Leaf Construction
Is it just me or are Maple Leaf Construction employees the worst drivers in the entire city? Every morning on my way to work they’re glued to my bumper (when I’m already going very reasonably over the speed limit) and constantly cutting me and other drivers off. Curious if anyone else has seen/experienced this with them.

I loathe them. The tailgating is bad enough, but the disregard for traffic signs is infuriating. it says no left turn, they turn left anyway which causes traffic to back up since there’s only one lane due to construction. Call their office and they say, “what do you expect them to do? go around the entire block to get where they’re going?”. yes. like the rest of us have to.

i posted a video once of a MLC truck full stopping at a red light for a left turn and then for seemingly no reason creeped into the intersection continuously until he was blocking pedestrians and other traffic and then realized and backed up until he almost hit me and again when the light turned green and he was still in reverse
im also frequently watching them on their phones, not signalling, or just straight up being dangerous - but the thing about company cars is unless the company actually cares about their image, they dont care what their drivers are doing, and MLC is definitely one that doesnt care and probably has a leaderboard for who got the most citizen calls to complain about driving

Yes they all fucking suck. There's one or two that regularly speed through my neighbourhood.

The faster they get to the job site, the faster they can stand around with a Tim’s cup, all watching 1 guy do all the work… if anybody is working at all!

They certainly seem to be trying to compete with gravel truck drivers for the top spot that's for sure
