1 in 8 Billion - a life simulator game where you are born as a random person and live its whole life

Currently trending massively in Japan, basically you are randomly born as a person in a particular country (with random income, gender, etc.) and you have to live a whole life as that person. Personally it was a great game, it really tells you how gifted you are right now and also how much life is based off luck too
Thought it was AI slop at first but it was much higher quality than I expected

Tentothe – the daily scale guessing game

Thumbnail

I made a daily game where you get 5 real photos and have to guess how wide the view is. Could be a water droplet, a street, or a chunk of the night sky, and you only have the image to go on.

You set your guess on one slider that runs from nanometres to light-years. There's a ruler you can drop on something you recognise to sanity-check yourself.

[HTML5] Gamele — Daily Video Game Guessing Challenge

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I built Gamele (https://videogamele.com) a daily guessing game for video game enthusiasts.

How it works:
- Every day there's a new mystery game.
- You get 8 guesses.
- Each wrong guess reveals progressive clues (release year comparison, platforms, genre, developer, and title hints).
- Completely free, no login required, zero paywalls.

Would love to hear your thoughts on today’s puzzle difficulty and the clue balancing. Did you manage to guess it?

Have fun playing!

I’m the developer of Smoosh. It’s a free browser brawler: pick a clay fighter or sculpt your own, then try to knock the other fighters off the stage. You can play against the computer or a friend online, on a computer or phone. No account or download needed.

I’d appreciate feedback on how the movement and attacks feel, especially with touch controls. If something feels off, please tell me what happened and which device/browser you used.

Campaign Trail: play a 5-minute game about getting voters to the polls, then make your own voting plan for the midterm election!

Thumbnail

Hey everyone, I built a small browser game called Campaign Trail, and with Election Day coming up on Nov 3 I wanted to share it. It's inspired by slither.io

The goal is simple: get your voters to the polls before they close. You have 5 minutes and a limited budget, and you’re up against long lines, misinformation, and other players.

  • Plays in your browser, on desktop or phone, with no download or account
  • Takes about 3-10 minutes a round
  • Play with friends and then plan to vote together before the midterms! Have a pre-election vote party!
  • Available in English and Spanish

This links to the global daily challenge, where you play 3 quick ~1-minute games based on real cognitive exercises.

I find the competitive element really increases your motivation to keep your mind sharp. Gotta wipe that smug grin off that humble-bragger's face!

Full disclosure. An honest note about my game.

Thumbnail
eldenmarch.com
• Upvotes

I don’t want to mislead anyone, so I’ll start with this. I used AI to develop the game, including the art. I’m the only developer working on it, and with the resources I have, there was no other way to get this result. Still, I’ve spent countless hours over the last year working on it, and I put a lot of effort into every detail. I keep working on it actively, every day, and I would be really happy if people gave it a chance.

The game is heavily inspired by HoMM3. Not because I was trying to rip off another game, but out of pure nostalgia for all the time I spent playing it.

I know everyone has a different opinion about AI, and some of those opinions are pretty strong. I respect that. But I also think there are people who understand that it unlocked something for me that just wasn’t possible before.

It’s called Eldenmarch. It’s free and runs in the browser, no sign-up needed.

[HTML5] Console8 - An Online Multiplayer Arcade

Thumbnail playconsole8.com
1 Upvotes

We are a small team building an online retro arcade inspired by the SNES.

All games have placeholder graphics. There are currently 7 game prototypes, some further along than others. They all need a lot of work:
- A pvp bomberman arena for 1-4 players
- A coop super smash tv gameshow for 1-4 players
- A twin-bee style shooter for 1-4 players
- A slime dashing sumo arena for 1-4 players
- A chill room based fishing game
- A vertical slice of Zelda 1 with procedural world and dungeons
- A vertical slice of a jRPG with procedural towns, dungeons and world

The console is live at playconsole8.com and has guest accounts for easy access.

We want to know if you find the console and room system intuitive. Also which games you thought were fun, which were trash. We would love to hear ideas for the games, or ideas for other SNES era style games you would be interested in playing. We're currently mulling over a contra style coop game for 1-2 players and many, many more. The games that players show the most interest in will be the ones that get worked on more. We look forward to hearing from you all, good or bad.

Thank you!

P.S. I'd love to hear from any artists that would like to work on a project like this. I would pay of course. Send me a DM. Thank you.

*AI was used to assist in development.

Dodge Relay — A multiplayer browser runner where the queue drops hazards

Thumbnail
vangrid5857.itch.io
1 Upvotes

I made Dodge Relay, a free multiplayer party runner that you can play in your browser.

One player runs and dodges while everyone waiting in line chooses hazards to drop onto the road.

When the runner is knocked out, they go to the back of the line and the next player takes over. Rooms support up to 30 active players and 200 spectators; bots fill the line when it’s quiet.

If you try it, I’d love to hear which hazards were the most fun to drop or dodge, and whether anything about the controls felt unclear.
