Hi all, u/RWJP here.

I just wanted to give a quick update on things so everyone is on the same page. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago Ns2-, the creator of this subreddit, had their account hacked. This temporarily meant that both myself and them were removed from moderating the subreddit, and the hackers took over. Thankfully, the Reddit admins acted quickly before any further damage was done, banned both hackers and reinstated me as a moderator. You can read more about that here. Unfortunately, Ns2-'s account remains compromised at this time so can't be added back. Edit 13th October: Ns2-'s account has been recovered and they have been re-added as a moderator!

In the meantime, I want to reassure you all that it's business as usual on the subreddit. Nothing is changing in terms of how the subreddit works.

I have made a couple of small updates though. A community member, /u/ephoenix99 noticed that our subreddit rules weren't being displayed on New Reddit and Mobile. I've fixed that now so no matter how our subreddit is accessed the rules are clear.

I've also added in the recommendation about not using Imgur into the rules permanently. We were already enforcing that for a couple of years but it was only through a stickied thread, now it be permanent.

Thanks all.
