On Monday, October 12, I was walking with my two children near a children’s playground around 76th Street and Fifth Avenue when I was bitten by a large Newfoundland being walked by Canine Cardio.

The dog walker appeared unable to properly control the dog and was walking him around children riding scooters and bicycles. After the incident, the walker was rude and simply walked away.

I went to the emergency department and was prescribed antibiotics.

I contacted the company to obtain the dog owner’s information and verify the dog’s rabies vaccination. However, I was only provided with a certificate that contains no identifiable information — no owner’s name, dog’s name, or other details linking it to the dog involved.
I’m very concerned that the dog’s owner may not even have been properly notified of the incident.

Please be aware, stay safe, and think carefully before entrusting your pets to a company that handles a serious incident this way.

Hi all! Ik this question gets asked a lot but my birthday is coming up and I am looking for a cozy wine night with 10 of my girlfriends. My dad recently passed and I really don’t have the brain power to think of anything but just know I want to be close to home with yummy food and wine!

I was going to call her out for this, but I was simply too flabbergasted to speak in time.

I was on a walk this morning with my friend’s dog, and this older lady with a gray lob kicked her dog’s poop off the sidewalk onto the street. But she had poop bags with her… I’m more genuinely bewildered than annoyed, though this behavior is still unacceptable. You’re telling me you’d rather get poop on your shoes than use the bags you have with you?

Or maybe I’m being inconsiderate in case she can’t bend down (?), but anyways… please call people out if they don’t pick up their dog’s poop.

Hey yall I’m just being nosy but was anybody else on the Q just now? Apparently the train was stalled for 10+ minutes because someone was bleeding and everyone had to isolate from the car the incident was in. Just wanted to get the tea if anybody has it.

I’d noticed an uptick of activity in the past few weeks at the 68th/3rd site and today one of construction workers confirmed that it’s a Five Below and it’s 95% complete and they’re targeting an Oct 31 opening date. They were unloading shelves with five below packaging so it tracks.

Hi all. Until recently, there was a terrific, skilled cobbler on 3rd Ave at 76th. I realized today that his shop has closed bc they lost their lease. Does anyone know if he opened up somewhere else? Or do you know another shoe guy in the area? This is the second one we’ve lost in this neighborhood. So sad.

I have been living in UES for a number of years and I'm frequently disappointed with the pizza in the hood. TBH it is terrible, it is all college level kind of pizza priced like it was decent. I have tried Famous Famiglia, Gotham, Salvo's, little italy, italian village, they all suck: greasy, goey and flat dough. I used to like Brooklyn pizza masters but their last three orders were so bad that I'm giving up on them. San mateo is the only that was kind of alright but not great.

Any recommendations? Am I being to harsh to somebody's beloved pizzeria? Well sorry you have terrible taste.

If I’ve been living on the upper east side for 20 years and never ordered diapers before and all of a sudden I change my password and place multiple $700 orders that include diapers to go to 329 Washington street in Perth Amboy NJ call me. And don’t send the order. And Perth amboy PD maybe go to that address at 8tonight in a fresh direct uniform and arrest this guy.

Someone lost their dog just now about 2:50pm, Oct 13. Really big German Shepard. Had a collar on them but no leash. Trotted past me outside Grabsteins. I had my small dog with me else I would have chased after them. I hope someone finds them!! I yelled out to some bystanders so a few people started running after the dog.

Was anyone else around or saw the dog go by them?! This was on 96 and Madison

Any recommendations for coffee shops to do work that have high speed internet? I need to upload large RAW image files and 4K video footage. I’ve tried so many solutions in my apartment, but unfortunately I just live in the back of a building and the connection is blocked by surrounding buildings.

EDIT: Sorry for the poor description! Not trying to ruin the shared public internet for anyone else, just wanted to get the point across about needing a consistent connection because I haven't found that in the past. My files aren't actually that large, they are close to 10GB total. That is still taking 5 hours on my network because my upload speeds are currently 5mbps. On any other consistent network it should be close to a 10 minute upload. I'm on my third internet provider and everyone just keeps saying my location is an anomaly because of my location and direction compared to the towers.

If you take a minute to scroll in the google reviews for the new location, ALL the reviews are overwhelmingly positive 😂 if I’m being generous, maybe I’m just a hater since it feels like they’re taking over and I don’t care for their coffee or matcha. Are they running some kind of promotion if you review them well?

Hi! I’m in my 20s and was looking to get an Asphalt Green membership. I used to swim competitively and want to get back into regular lap swimming, but I’m looking for something casual and don't want to commit to a masters team.
