Mod Post UFL Information Mega-Thread - 2026/2027 Offseason
In order to keep information easily accessible, I have created this mega-thread to act as a hub for relevant UFL information for the 2025/2026 offseason, leading up to the 2026 UFL season.
UFL to NFL Player Signings
Hub thread with all of the UFL to NFL player signing information, grouped in team order, same as last year.
UFL College/Rookie Draft 2026
The league has not yet published news on when the next draft is occurring.
We are aware the league has implemented a college allocation system for players entering the league that do not already have their rights claimed by a UFL team.
UFL College Allocations:
- Birmingham: Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, UAB
- Columbus: Indiana, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State
- Dallas: Baylor, SMU, TCU, Texas, North Texas
- DC: Maryland, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech
- Houston: Houston, LSU, Rice, Texas A&M
- Louisville: Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee
- Orlando: Florida, Florida State, USF, UCF
- St. Louis: Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri
Since the Birmingham and Houston teams are being relocated, the above system is expected to change.
For previous drafts, link to the 2024 UFL College Draft Hub thread is here and the 2025/2026 offseason draft here.
UFL End of Season Team Reviews - 8 Teams/8 Days
Hub thread for the /r/UnitedFootballLeague fan write-ups for each of the 8 UFL teams for the 2026 season. This is our version of the /r/NFL 32 Teams/32 Days event, and covers a review of the team roster/performances, a week by week game breakdown, stats analysis, and more.
Direct links to the team write-ups for the 2026 season:
Highlights for the season are also available in the team write-up posts.
Direct links to the team write-ups for the 2025 season:
Direct links to the team write-ups for the 2024 season:
You can also find links to game highlights from the 2024 and 2025 season for each of the teams in the above posts.
UFL Roster Lists & Resources
For anyone interested, up to date roster lists, as well as tracking of UFL player movement, can be found on this Google sheets document maintained by Nick Thorn from Pro Football Newsroom. This is the best and most organized list available, and also includes information on the coaching staff, and pre-merger players (e.g. AAF, XFL, and USFL).
Another recommended resource is this Google sheets document maintained by UFL Analyst.
Lastly, UFL Analyst also put together this spreadsheet with All Time and Single Season Spring Football Stats across all of the modern spring leagues. Fantastic resource for anyone interested.
UFL Player Showcases
The UFL runs player showcases in multiple cities across the country in the offseason. These showcases provide players a chance to exhibit their skills in front of UFL coaches and personnel directors. Players will be evaluated based on performance for inclusion in the UFL player pool for the 2027 season.
The player showcase dates and locations have been announced as follows:
- August 7th: Washington D.C. - George Mason University
- August 9th: St. Louis, MO - Lindbergh High School

Which UFL team should I root for?
Last year's mega-thread here for help picking a team to follow.
Will post an updated version following confirmation of the where the Stallions and Gamblers are being relocated to.
UFL Fantasy Football
We recommend anyone interested in UFL Fantasy Football check out Alt Fantasy Sports. They ran a fantasy league for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 season, and have confirmed they will be doing the same for the 2027 season.
News Hub Fantasy is another site that also ran a fantasy league for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 season, and will be doing the same for 2027.
The league put out a press release on June 4, 2024, to announce that Underdog Fantasy is the exclusive fantasy sports partner for the league. You can read the press release here. FYI, Underdog is more of a pick'em challenge.
Lastly, there is Draft Kings which also does UFL games.
We will post an updated hub thread here for anyone looking to either advertise or join a fantasy league for the 2027 UFL season. Hub thread will be launched prior to the 2027 season kickoff.

Discussion Community thoughts?
Just thinking…since JMU is moving to the American Conference, anyone else think there will be an impact on future UFL players. James Madison already churns out some pretty good players (as seen by those moving on to Indiana and UCLA and heavily contributing), now that they will be in a higher quality, tougher, more competitive league I’m guessing their player level will increase as well. Could mean good things as far as more talent entering the UFL during an expansion period. Trickle down effect.

Social Media UFL Co-Owner Mike Repole responds to RG III about coming to the UFL for next season, proposes multiple jobs RG III could fill in the UFL, and asks fans what market and team would RG III be best for.
Original post here.
Hey RG III, thank you so much for keeping our conversation private. 😂
You’re a BIG talent on AND off the field. We’d love to have you join us at the UFL as we build something special a league FOR THE FANS. Approachable. Affordable. Accessible.
You can throw for 300 yards and 4 TDs, then we can get you behind the mic as a color commentator and for a weekly UFL show.
Why stop at one job??? 😂
We’re building innovative, competitive, high quality football, developing talent, creating opportunities and having some FUN doing it.
The right markets. The right venues. And access that brings fans closer than ever on the field, on the sidelines, inside the locker room, and into the replay review. Let them hear it, see it, and feel it their teams during the week AND on game day.
As I told you, we DEFINITELY don’t want to be a No Fun League.
Let’s keep this between you and me. I promise I won’t say a word.
Let’s f$&kikg GO!!! 🏈💪
What market and team would RG III be best for???

Discussion Question
So, I personally would love to see the UFL put out a yearly “UFL Gridiron” video game and have UFL fantasy football on yahoo/ESPN. Plus, trading cards and maybe a pregame/halftime show on FOX. I honestly think this sort of stuff would be huge for league growth. Would anyone else want to have this or any other type of league content?
