Uniforms Long sleeve shirt uniforms
With cooler weather, I'm looking into the long sleeve shirt uniform options (utilizing the light blue AF shirt, I realize the Winter Dress Blue shirt is made of unobtanium). Just wanted a sanity check and to start a discussion since cooler weather is coming. Below is a summary of what I think is true. Please confirm or correct and add any missing info:
Undress Blue-Winter:
Always with a necktie. No ribbons. No shoulder boards. Collar devices worn. Not worn under dress jacket. Can be worn under wooly pulley and cardigan. Can only be worn 1 November through 1 March.
Tropical Blue Long Sleeve:
Always with necktie. No ribbons. Wear shoulder boards. Can be worn under dress coat (and also by itself). Can be worn under wooly pulley and cardigan.
Between the two, what are the wear scenarios? Since it's worn under the dress blue coat, I'm assuming the Tropic Blue Long Sleeve is the more formal of the two and would be worn by itself to a formal occasion if one doesn't have a dress blue coat.
