Is the above really true?? Someone at a gay bar was saying christianity is = islam for tolerance of homsexuality so I am surprised by this

Help me build Dykeline xo

Taking inspiration from Lesbian Lines established in the UK in the 1970s, I’m developing Dykeline, an independent social enterprise with a simple idea…a freephone listening line where anyone who identifies as a dyke can call for a friendly chat with another dyke.

You don’t have to be in crisis. You might be lonely, having a difficult day, missing queer company or simply wanting to talk to someone who gets it.

I’m looking for 3–4 people to join me in developing the idea and building its foundations.

I’m particularly keen to hear from people with experience in:
✨LGBTQ+ communities and organising
✨Safeguarding, mental health support or listening services
✨Finance, fundraising or grant applications
✨Social enterprise, governance or communications

This is an early stage project, so initially the role would be voluntary. The aim is to establish Dykeline as an independent Community Interest Company (CIC), raise funding and launch a small pilot with trained volunteers.

You don’t need experience in every area. I’m looking for thoughtful, reliable people who believe in the idea and want to help make it happen.
