Idk if I’m the only one who experienced this. But I sent Hull York an email on Monday (I tried to call them, it said they all work remotely and they check the email inbox every day on the automated message). Not a single response!!! So I couldn’t apply. I emailed Newcastle, and they kept responding to me after a few days, with a new question, to clarify my circumstances. Took them 8 days to reply. Hull York is worse cause at least Newcastle replied. Shouldn’t they allocate a few more people to the admissions enquiries line and emails during these months when people are actually applying. Let’s see how long it takes Hull York to reply anyway. 😤😤
Edit: Let’s say Hull York is really backed up with emails, it doesn’t explain why most other universities can reply really promptly, when they likely get a similar, if not bigger amount of emails, especially the more ‘popular’ universities, and some receive calls on top of that. It’s not wrong to expect the same level of response time from all the universities. 1-2 days was the mean time from my own experience.
