Original Characters (OCs) Need some help with writing a Twilight fan story.

Hi, as the title says, I'm writing a Twilight fan story featuring my original character, Marianna. Unfortunately, I made the terrible mistake of using AI for getting the ball rolling. (I'm never doing that again, btw) So I'm starting fresh with a notebook and pencil 📕 ✏️ But I need help from those who understand Twilight lore so that nothing gets overlooked.

Alternative Universe (AU) Bella/Edward AU fanfictions?

A long time twilight lover, i recently got into fanfiction, and so far i'm really loving AU bella/edward stories.

I've read and absolutely loved:

Out of Sight Out of Mind - Simaril: I really loved the idea of seeing how Bella would be in college and how she would react if she met Edward after she matured a bit!

How to Win Back the Love of Your Existence - Missypooh: the humor in this one plus the spice was amazing

Fits into the existing canon perfectly, but probably covers a part of the story that was not actually told in the books, e.g., what Bella experienced while she was "dead".

Starts or is based off a canon event, topic or common knowledge, but changes. Such changes, if they took place in book one, would most likely impact canon so that later books would be different to what we know now, e.g. Jacob never phases.

Alternative Universe (AU):

Pretty much everything is different. This is not to say names, personalities, races and certain plots may stay the same, but ultimately the story being told is significantly different, e.g. Forks doesn't exist, so Bella meets a woman named Edythe at community college and the two fall in love.
