1. if your game sense was a smidge higher you would have hard carried to a win just to genuinely watch in depth spilo tracer analysis and proper vods for the next two hours.
2. Force tracer against the worst comp imaginable just to go double negative and derank back to plat.
3. Convince yourself you dont have the iq of top tracer players and youll make it big purely on mechanics so you spend the next two hours in vaxta.
4. Lose and go double negative again to derank even more but its ok because it wasnt because of mechanics or game sense you were just unlucky and pulled a chokeslop map against orisa, cass.
5. Get hard diffed by the enemy tracer and go negative to derank even further but its genuinely ok because you probably faced a masters smurf whos on his third alt of the month cause he cant hit gm. Also you gaslight yourself into thinking going from double negative to normal negative is significant improvement.
6. Try a final time, die instantly on the first fight and insta swap to sojourn to carry yourself back up to emerald.
7. Cycle lowk repeats cause your a bum.

Who do I think I am?

I see proper clips or a vod and think I’m gonna go replicate that perfect aim. Seems he’s having so much fun diving in with a frame perfect Korean warlord winston.

Then I over confidently hop into a emerald lobby, straight line into a junkrat, pick an obviously unfair fight with a cass and finally stat pad by shooting and missing pulses on the enemy tank.

Who am I genuinely feeling like bruh? All I do is feed. And don’t yall come at me for being ass because only a small percentage of yall are higher ranks. Statistically majority of you are in similar elo to me.

Dont come acting all high and mighty because I be playinf against yall and seeing yall too. Dont come here and cap cause you and me both know damwell you be doing the EXACT SAME thing.

So I was at M3-M1 for most of this season so far, however I went on a HUGE lose streak and am currently at D3. I was wondering what can I do to carry more games as tracers, specially now that I am amongst players that lack the knowledge of the ones that I was used to play with. Is there any other heroes that I should try to use in order to carry these games?

I’m horrible at tracer when the other team is somewhat competent, at least I can do my goat justice outside of gameplay lol

I feel she is more lethal at point blank but from mid-range she's worse. I don't know if this is a buff or not. Feels like a nerf overall because of the midrange falloff. I think she is harder against her counters and baiting cooldowns because of it. Do you agree or disagree? Thanks.

I enjoy using it, but I was just curious why people don’t like it.

I have exactly 25 hours on tracer and I've watched numerous guides (that all seem to say opposite things...) and every game I get the feeling that I could have done something different in X situation but I just dont know what i could have done, it also feels like im typically on the lower end of damage/10 and i've been trying to have more uptime

I would love advice on how to get better at the game and to make cooler clips

I have like nearly 40 hours on her and usually play okay but it’s been like 3 days since I last played her and now I just, idk I’m not getting value and I’m essentially just playing spectator it’s like I just forgot how to play her entirely I don’t know what’s happening to me. It’s not like I’m just having a bad day it’s like I’ve just entirely forgotten what I should be doing as her idk what’s happened but she’s genuinely unplayable for me now idk what happened:(

this is such a skill issue but I genuinely just felt stuck, like I couldn’t make it anywhere near their team coz every route to their backline was just in scope of the widow, I was midtown attack, this is right after first point and they were on like, idk what it is but the weird wall directly opposite where first point is next to the overpass. I tried going corner multiple times by blinking to the building but they had a cass in that corner that would see coming so idk I just felt stuck. I figured I was throwing and then tank flamed me in chat so I defo know I was but I just couldn’t figure out what to do:( sorry

the other team just felt so oppressive, like i couldnt dive anyone without just unrelenting fire coming on me, i think i engaged with tank so its not like theyre werent distracted its just that everytime i made myself known i had to run away. just struggled with finding value is all :( idk it was my first time playing her in a couple days ig but like ive never been that bad returning before

For context, I'm pretty low elo, because i went on a huge lose streak from around emerald 5 - gold 1.. In these lobbies i can do pretty well, but once I carry a teamfight, the enemy team usually looks like Brig, Torb, Cassidy, Mei, or someone with high mobility, and they all will do anything to kill me. I cant dive as much, so i try to at least distract one support/ dps, but usually we still lose the teamfight.

I originally thought "Its just my team" because usually i have low deaths and okay kills and my tank and dps would have double my deaths, but its happening every game so I think its a me issue. E768N6 is an example of what im explaining happening, but you dont have to watch it. (please ignore the match start)

What would you guys do in this situation?
