[Spiering] Skip Schumaker on the Rangers missing the playoffs: "The reality is we didn't play well enough against under .500 teams. The frustrating part is like not figuring out different ways to help beat the teams that we should have beat."

Gotta figure out why we went from best pitching in baseball in 25 to absolute ass, and why we just can’t seem to get offense consistent ever since the trophy

Age of deGrom and Eovaldi. I think people forget Eovaldi was pitching cy young level last year whereas he was kind of just average this year.

Leiter was injured and had a step back when he did play. Rocker took a slight step up but he's still nothing more than a 5th starter at best. Gore was disappointing. Quantrill was good though.

The biggest problem i see is them having to rebuild the pitching staff year after year.
