So, I yesterday went on a grind and I beat all three mecha bosses back to back and almost died to the twins but won. Now I got some good weapons like True Night's Edge, a legendary Chlorophyte Claymore and a True Excalibur. I got turle armor and I'm preparing to build a mini arena for Plantera.

Am I prepared enough or I should grind some more?

I just started playing and I'm a little overwhelmed with how much I'm looking at.

I'm kind of itching to look up some new player guides, or specific information, but maybe I'm taking the fun out of the game by doing that.

For example, I just made a house for the shop guy, but he left anyway...

How do you guys' play? Do you like to try and stay in game to figure things out? Or are you heavy on external resources?

Idk what it is but I really like terraria well the videos but I don't know how to get into it like I feel like a attraction towards it but I dont when I get on I can't play it ans please don't say

I honestly tried to find a dedicated subreddit specifically for finding Terraria co-op partners instead of the main Terraria sub, but since I’d have to strain my brain way too much just to figure out where it is, I decided to just scrap it. This post is a copy of my Steam recruitment, where I am also looking for soldiers for a Legendary difficulty run.

I also tried posting in the LFG channel of the official Terraria Discord server, but as soon as I stepped in there, it felt like an Indian street market where some weird ppl were spamming garbage every nanosecond. Because of that, my innocent question of *how the hell* to write in the proper channel got instantly crushed. Then I tried tagging one of the admins, for which I got banned in 0.00001 seconds because I supposedly violated one of their -999,999 iq rules. I hate bureaucracy.

Anyway, I guess we can finally move on to the actual post:

Here is what I am looking for:

1. Combat & Game Experience: You must have solid combat skills and at least one completed playthrough on Master Mode or higher.

2. Endurance & Time Commitment: You need strong mental resilience, persistence, and plenty of free time. We will face constant wipes early on, and I need someone who won't break or ragequit.

3. Maturity & Decency: You must be an adequate, reasonable person with above-average maturity. I’ve already run into far too many weird, toxic players, kids and other trash on this platform while searching for a reliable partner for this charge.

I know you're not supposed to be able to enter until after Plantera. So is this rare or what?

So I know that this item is a boss summon for the eye of cuthullu and I wanted to know if I should fight it now or not. My armor is full cactus and I have a gold bow. I can also make the amethyst staff or robe since i have 11 amethyst. my health is at lvl 140 and mp is 200

Not sure why it freaks me out so much. I've watched some horror, body horror, cosmic horror. I enjoy it enough, I'm just not the most interested in it. Nothing scares me that much. I'll get spooked, think about it for a bit, and then move on. Nothing affects me like the Crimson does.

I don't know exactly what it is about it that haunts me, but holy shit it does. When I play Terraria on the Crimson, I'm thinking about it nonstop. The music plays in my head all the time (it's an awesome track, genuinely mind-blowingly good, I wish I could enjoy it without feeling so much dread). I'm terrified of the spread. Terrified of the concept of a gorey evil biome taking over the world. I had insomnia for a while because I'd be lying awake at night imagining it spreading outside my window. I dreamt about the Crimson all the time years ago when I played terraria a lot, like all the time. For years after, the dreams became less constant, but they were always there.

Now, I'm playing Terraria with a friend again. We left the evil biome up to RNG because I thought I could handle it. Got Crimson. Realizing I cannot handle it. I'm not doing this shit.

I know you can get regular critters on getfixedboi above the underworld, I'm about to clear some space out and build a little town with grass blocks n shit. I'm wondering if they can spawn in the crisp honey mushroom biome between the grassy layer and underworld, or just the grassy layer.

I'm playing in expert and I've already beaten the Eye and brain of Chtulhu,Skeletron and Queen bee. Should I try luck with WOF or is there something I can improve? I'm trying to play as a magician.

I just wanted to share a little side project I've been working on, Dye Packages, with you all. I love Terraria, I hope that much is obvious, but I've always thought that dyes were a bit limiting despite how expansive they are. Especially considering they're one of the biggest ways to express your player.

Dye Packages is a mod that aims to add much more customization to dyes, allowing you to mix up to four dyes and one of the two new special dyes sold by the dye trader in the graveyard. Dyes can be mixed using sliders, with adjustable lighting and a live preview for each piece of equipment.

The mod is still in Alpha, so there may be some bugs, and multiplayer is still untested. But bug reports are totally welcome!

All on the jungle side and taking up 20% of the map, I didnt check under the corruption biome because I heard It cant be there and cant check anymore to the left because of the jungle temple

i recently had a problem with my terraria, and it is that when i breal blocks/mine, the blocks break but it doesn't drop the materials, i can break vases and get items feom it and from chests, but not from breaking blocks, what can i do to fix this bug?

It's my first blind playthrough am playing on expert as ranger , I beat mechanical twins and mechanical destroyer after a few tries , I've figured their flaws and tactics and took advantage of them , but mechanical skeleton is a whole different boss , I've built the biggest arena just for him , took many potions , titanium armor , and he still one shots me , idk what's up with his ai but it feels like he changes his playstyle every single fight , he's super unpredictable and very hard to aim at as ranger , and most of the times he survives with 10% hp , i know it's a skill issue but am here to vent lol
