Am I bugging or can I see the shape of someone crouching and pointing their finger???

Not sure why it freaks me out so much. I've watched some horror, body horror, cosmic horror. I enjoy it enough, I'm just not the most interested in it. Nothing scares me that much. I'll get spooked, think about it for a bit, and then move on. Nothing affects me like the Crimson does.

I don't know exactly what it is about it that haunts me, but holy shit it does. When I play Terraria on the Crimson, I'm thinking about it nonstop. The music plays in my head all the time (it's an awesome track, genuinely mind-blowingly good, I wish I could enjoy it without feeling so much dread). I'm terrified of the spread. Terrified of the concept of a gorey evil biome taking over the world. I had insomnia for a while because I'd be lying awake at night imagining it spreading outside my window. I dreamt about the Crimson all the time years ago when I played terraria a lot, like all the time. For years after, the dreams became less constant, but they were always there.

Now, I'm playing Terraria with a friend again. We left the evil biome up to RNG because I thought I could handle it. Got Crimson. Realizing I cannot handle it. I'm not doing this shit.

I've seen people draw EoW in a centipede-like appearance that was featured in the Terraria Steam workshop rather than it's in-game worm appearance, and I wanna ask you guys, which appearance do you usually draw?

Hiii, I'm LLU, developer of the mod Agraria.

I just wanted to share a little side project I've been working on, Dye Packages, with you all. I love Terraria, I hope that much is obvious, but I've always thought that dyes were a bit limiting despite how expansive they are. Especially considering they're one of the biggest ways to express your player.

Dye Packages is a mod that aims to add much more customization to dyes, allowing you to mix up to four dyes and one of the two new special dyes sold by the dye trader in the graveyard. Dyes can be mixed using sliders, with adjustable lighting and a live preview for each piece of equipment.

The mod is still in Alpha, so there may be some bugs, and multiplayer is still untested. But bug reports are totally welcome!

I just started playing and I'm a little overwhelmed with how much I'm looking at.

I'm kind of itching to look up some new player guides, or specific information, but maybe I'm taking the fun out of the game by doing that.

For example, I just made a house for the shop guy, but he left anyway...

How do you guys' play? Do you like to try and stay in game to figure things out? Or are you heavy on external resources?

It's my first blind playthrough am playing on expert as ranger , I beat mechanical twins and mechanical destroyer after a few tries , I've figured their flaws and tactics and took advantage of them , but mechanical skeleton is a whole different boss , I've built the biggest arena just for him , took many potions , titanium armor , and he still one shots me , idk what's up with his ai but it feels like he changes his playstyle every single fight , he's super unpredictable and very hard to aim at as ranger , and most of the times he survives with 10% hp , i know it's a skill issue but am here to vent lol

Well i forgot to show the enchantments if thats what they are called but if you are wondering i can just tell you

I'm so far enjoying the building process involved in terraria (a minecraft builder shifting to terraria). I find it interesting to try and make my build look nice on js 2d and not have any sight of the rest of the content surrounding it. I enjoy the ingame tools like the ruler terraria also offers.

The biomes, sound track, the weapons, the vanities can be silly and straight up beautiful. The Hell sound track is amazing. The mushroom biome has to be my favourite biome of all, the dazzling blue scenery and everything about it.

I personally enjoy the combination of stone bricks and boreal wood in my build and have been experimenting with different lighting colors too. The platforms have to be one of the most convenient blocks --- so far. The npc design is amazing too and has its own charm!

I love how unique the vanities are and have quite a bit of humor in them. Speaking of humor the kill messages are --- it always get a chuckle out of me, it's just that they are so silly!

So to wrap things up, the game isn't bad as I expected it to be as I am not to much of a fan of 2D games in general and am more like a 3d guy. But with the right mindset, goals and objectives and right partner the game can be extremely enjoyable and relaxable.

I'll be moving to hardmode pretty soon? Dunno if I'm even close but my friend has told me that the sword I'm using is Pre-hardmode. Well the game is great, love it.

It's finally out!

The Brawler subclass for Terraria. It works as a melee subclass, so your melee armor, emblems and accessories all carry over.

There are 29 gauntlets from Copper Knuckles all the way to endgame. Some are punch gauntlets where you're right in the enemy's face throwing hits. Others shoot from your palms and build heat as you hold fire. Every hit fills a Power bar, and a full bar lets you right-click for the gauntlet's special move.

There's also one secret gauntlet. I'm not saying anything else about it.

It's in Early Access/Beta, whatever you wanna call it, so expect some bugs and balance stuff that's a little off. I'm going to keep adding to it, and more gauntlets are already in the works.

If you try it, let me know what feels too strong, too weak or broken. I read everything.
