I don't trust Ajit, but it's been mentioned again and again by Neelu and Heer herself once he will not be able to look himself in the eye after he learned what happened with Heer....

And we can't forget during one of Heer's panic attack/ nightmare in hostel she visualised him whistling 🫠🫠🫠
