Feels good in your teeth

Anyone else feel like some words or sounds make your teeth feel good? It’s like a deep feelings in my teeth and gums. Idk how else to explain it other than “it makes my teeth feel good.” I also have autism so it’s hard to tell what’s synesthesia, what’s just a strange sensory experience, or if it’s both

Anyone else have ordinal linguistic personification?

This is one of the stranger forms of synesthesia, and I know it sounds ridiculous, but I’ve always felt it very clearly. I once described it to a curious friend and she seemed almost annoyed, like I was trying to be cute or quirky. I wasn’t. It’s just how numbers and letters have always felt to me. If you haven’t heard of it, ordinal linguistic personification (OLP) means sequences like letters, numbers, or days of the week each have their own personality, and often a gender. It shows up most often in people who also have grapheme-color synesthesia.

Mine is strongest with numbers. Odd numbers generally feel male and even numbers feel female; there’s something about oddness that reads as masculine to me and evenness as feminine. Here’s the cast:

0: genderless and mysterious. Doesn’t talk.
1: a young boy, outgoing and confident.
2: a young girl, just as confident as 1 but gentler.
3: brasher, clever, a little cunning.
4: the exception. Even, but male, maybe because he’s less rounded. Quiet, sensitive, artistic.
5: a jolly middle-aged man who likes a drink.
6: a sassy, adventurous woman with an attitude.
7: well-liked and generous, but doesn’t like drawing attention to himself.
8: a wise, maternal older woman.
9: an androgynous man with trickster energy.

Multi-digit numbers are fuzzier. They feel more like combinations, with the first digit setting the general vibe and gender. Repeated digits (like 33 or 88) have twin energy. I won’t go through every letter, but here’s how the alphabet sorts by gender:

Female: A, B, J, K, P, Q, R, W
Male: C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, S, T, U, V, Y
Neutral: X, Z

Does anyone else have this? What are yours like?

Hello! I am working on a design project centered around auditory synesthesia and one of the chosen songs is "the Unmaking Angel" by 404 Breakcore.

If you experience any form of synesthesia and are willing I would love to know how you experience the song. When you listen what do you see, smell, taste, and or feel(especially interested in auditory-tactile and visual)? Are there any specific parts in the song that have more of an impact?

I would love to hear as little or as much information as you are able to provide! Thank you for your time and feedback!!

Is This Synesthesia? Memories and abstract feelings with images

I'm not sure if my title is accurate but I'll try my best to explain this.

So certain memories conjure certain abstract feelings or "vibes" associated with these memories, along with subtle imagery, that is hard for me to describe.

Such as ..when I think of the one and a half year sabbatical I was on; everytime I recollect that phase of my life, there is a mixture of feelings/vibes attached to it. The best way I can describe it as -- peace, freedom and contentment.

And even those feelings/vibes have "scenes" attached to it. For example, when I say peace; as in, the quiet that washes over you at night when the whole world is asleep and it's just you and the silent night and the comforting warm darkness. and weirdly...a sense of feeling loved by the universe, but the love is something a little out of this world; like an innocence and detachment to that love.

Contentment, as in, the warm orange glow of sunset peaking through trees and hitting you with it, as you're walking through a neighborhood with lots of trees, greenery and gravel, with not a care in the world and the sense that...everything is ok, exactly as it is, with nothing to worry about.

Freedom...for some reason, this conjures up a cloudy grey sky at close to sunset (or a cloudy grey tint...think the greyish-blue tint that was used in the Twilight movie lol), the cool breeze hitting my face, crisp fresh air, vast space where you have all the time in the world (like the sense of time doesn't exist) and this subtle hint of excitement constantly coursing through you, and a sense that the universe has opened upto you with every new and exciting possibilities, where anything interesting can happen, with nothing holding you down.

So yeah...there you go.

I hope I made sense but yeah...some memories have certain feelings/vibes attached to it (like the flavours that make up a memory) and those feelings or vibes even have certain imagery attached to it.

Not sure if this is synesthesia but you tell me....what do you think?
