Was there anything Kendall could've done to change the final outcome? Spoiler
If he had actually made a strong pitch in the end, would anyone in the meeting have given him the extra vote? Was there anything he could have said or done to convince Shiv to let him be CEO? Or was his fate already sealed?

Logan: "It's cloudy, it's sunny."
Context: when stewy told Logan that everyone fucking hates him.

Did Logan Roy actually love his children, or did he just love being needed by them?
Some of his tender moments felt genuine, which somehow makes his cruelty even worse. Whatâs your take?
r/SuccessionTV • u/InTheKnow_12 • 21h ago
Do you think Logan floated Tomâs name to Matsson?
Offering himself to go to prison for the boss is exactly the kind of thing you look for when you want a puppet CEO.
And I think Logan will smart enough to understand what Matson wanted, while shiv wasn't.

Please no sopranos quotes
I enjoy this sub. Please donât let it go the way of [r/sopranos](r/sopranos), [r/madmen](r/madmen), and [r/breakingbad](r/breakingbad) â karma farms for braindead unfunny quote regurgitators.
Okay but you gotta get over it. Quasimodo predicted this. Itâs toasted. Thatâs what the moneyâs for. Interior decorator. He was gay, Ewan Roy? The pierces, whatever happened there? Progrum, movie, enough already.
Back in the day we had the word âcancerâ to describe behaviors like this
Reply to this with a sopranos quote if youâre an updoot-obsessed Redditor with a greasy neckbeard and rotting sense of individuality

Honesty - Kendall bests Billy Joel
Any other die hards for Billy Joel and Succession find themselves preferring Kendallâs version of Honesty? Amazing work by Jeremy Strong.
PS I was team Tom the whole time.

Where do the kids get their money?
Obviously we know that Waystar is a multi-billion dollar operation, with Logan at the helm on a huge salary with bonuses and his own investments etc. I assume Rome + Ken had salaries when they were in the company, and Shiv wouldâve had a salary as a political consultant, plus we can assume they have access to trust funds. But surely that money would have been limited to a point; we know that Connor asks Logan for money in the S2 finale because the costs of Willaâs play, his ranch, and his campaign are squeezing him. But in general the kids seem to have access to an unlimited money tap, even when Ken is not working for Waystar in S3. The massive bid for PGN in S4; Shiv and Tom buy a massive new apartment; Ken throws himself a huge birthday party, plus his lawyer and consultant costs; and they all have constant access to PJs, private cars and drivers, staff, clothes, tech, etc, all the usual trappings of extreme wealth. I guess Iâm just curious where the wealth comes from specifically for the kids, as it doesnât seem like Logan gives regular handouts.

Life imitating art in the Texas Senate race
At the conservative political conference in S3E6 (where Logan is playing kingmaker after âThe Raisinâ decides not seek re-election), a rumor that VP Boyer is vegetarian makes the rounds:
Natural Gas Exec: I heard his daughter has made him go vegetarian. Did you hear that?
Logan: No.
Tom Wambsgans: Oh, no. I think I've seen him eat a meatball.
Natural Gas Exec: Nope. Secret herbivore.
Maybe not the deciding factor driving Logan away from him, but it was certainly a strike against himâŚ
Meanwhile, in Texas⌠Ken Paxtonâs campaign had been trying to spread that James Talarico is a âsecret veganâ (with Trump amplifying that accusation). Talarico clarified, multiple times, that heâs not a vegan, with his campaign posting multiple photos of him eating meat, including one in which heâs taking a bite out of a turkey leg with a spread of BBQâd meats in front of him.
The idea that a candidate having a plant based diet could be a source of controversy is pretty absurd, but as it turns out, was depressingly realistic and prescient

Ewan.. just priceless! Spoiler
James Cromwell is one of my FAVORITE actors. Cromwell as Ewan is just brilliant casting! No one delivers READS âŚstands up to Logan the way his brother EWAN does ⌠everything out of his mouth is gold every word, sentence to his brother is just legendary!!
Iâd put Ewan up to any of the guys I grew up in my old neighborhood in
The âreading roomâ !! Hilarious

Whatâs up with Kendallâs obsession with being âfunnyâ?
Iâm talking about stuff like him insisting on going on that late night show where the host openly loathes him, or his weird birthday party, or him bragging about his time at the Harvard Lampoon (âI was the fucking king at the Lampoonâ⌠sure thing man), etc.
Is this just some desperate attempt at being âhipâ, like âhey guys Iâm not like the other boring corporate squaresâ?
Or is there something else going on?
I find it curious since Kendall is obviously desperate for his fatherâs approval, but Logan would find this type of behavior childish and stupid.

This sub is shitty and full of nasty Logan Roy-wannabes NSFW
Gosh, I would have never believed the amount of fucked-up cocksuckers this sub is full of. You guys are pathetic! Anything that doesn't allign with your screwed-up views of life and the world warrants you to be the nasty, pathetic, unemployed basement-dweller incels and femcels you all are. People like you are the reason the world is fucked-up the way it is. That's why this sub has stalled and doesn't grow anymore. I am leaving this shithole for good - r/moderation, please ban me, so I never come back - and will never talk about Succession again on Reddit unless a better and more intelligent community raises from this one's ashes. You people can all go suck a cock.

to shiv = to stab
i just finished a rerun and stumbled upon the notion that shiv is a word for a knife usually used in prison. to shiv means to stab. and i gotta say that i find it fitting in regards to how the show ends. whether agreeing or not with her move, shiv kinda backstabs ken in the final, promising her vote and switching last minute.
so i donât know if itâs been obvious to everybody since english is not my native language but i thought it was cool.
