Looking to add a roof box to my 2017 Crosstrek (140k miles) to get a few more years out of it as our family grows.

REI recommended the Thule Force 3 L (16 cu ft), but I’m open to any brand, preferably something REI carries.

My main concerns are keeping the rear hatch fully functional and avoiding too much overhang above the windshield. Ideally, I’d like enough room for a folded stroller and a four-wheel rollator walker, plus some smaller bags.

Would an 18 cu ft box be too big? Is 16 cu ft enough? Also planning to leave it on year-round.
Would appreciate recommendations from anyone with a first-gen Crosstrek, especially if you have pictures of your setup. Thanks!

Looking at 2017 Crosstrek with 78,000 miles on it. Good maintenance records. One cvt fluid change. Not rebuild. Some minor body scrapes on back passenger door. Is $16,000 a high asking price? It’s well above KBB.

2019 Premium 85k miles. I drive almost exclusively in the city. Better mpg than my CX5 got and way more fun to drive.

Had a rental while my car was getting fixed and really enjoyed the Apple Car play. I’m looking at getting my infotainment center upgraded to something that has that. Anyone upgrade their old stereo to something new and modern? Any tips? Do the steering wheel controls still work?

I am currently working on OTD prices for a 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Premium with the option 13 package (mirrors, etc. but no moonroof, etc.). It's between the Alpine Green and the Sapphire Blue. I just can't decide. What color would you choose and why?

I also have the option for one with a moonroof in either Sapphire Blue or Dark Grey. My hubs thinks I will have more trouble than its worth for a moonroof. Thoughts and opinions welcome!

What’s the gas mileage look like for a 2014 lifted crosstrek with 235?

Cut the tube, reclamped so that I could get home. The hose is rotting, and I’m wanting to buy and replace it on my own to save $$.. does anyone know if that’s reasonable? Will I have to take anything out of my engine to reach places I’ll need to attach a new hose to?

I have a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek XV, and recently my ABS, VDC/traction control, and Hill Assist warning lights have been coming on intermittently.

I'm also hearing a low, airplane-like humming/roaring noise while driving that gets louder as my speed increases.

About two months ago, my mechanic replaced one very worn wheel bearing and mentioned that another bearing was somewhat worn but still okay. I've driven around 2,000–3,000 km since then.

I'm not entirely sure whether the warning lights are triggered by bumps/potholes or just happen randomly.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be the other wheel bearing, an ABS wheel-speed sensor or its wiring, or possibly something else?

Any advice or suggestions on what I should check first would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all. I need a transmission reseal on my 2019 cross track. It has 62,000 miles. I called Subaru of America yesterday, and they said this would not be covered under the extended warranty. Anybody have luck getting the dealer to have this covered? Any insight would be appreciated.

Has anybody had issues with the clock adjustment on their Subaru? I’ve tried everything to get it to adjust… switched from auto to manual, reset radio, tried using Bluetooth… asked GBT and followed all its recommendations… nothing allows my +/- to adjust the time!
Please help!
