Almost certainly an issue with HDR

Where would be the source of the issue? It's only in the Steam Link app

AFAIK steam link doesn't support HDR. If your source pc has HDR turned on, maybe that's the issue?

Almost certainly HDR being funky.

If on windows, you can enable the Xbox game bar. Then it lets you turn HDR on and off with a button combo. (win + alt + b is the default I believe).

You can always do it manually but that works nicely for me when I need to stream to the steam link.

Though as a side note, with pyrowave codec being so great so far, I may finally look into retiring the steam link to a spare TV at some point.
