I can’t be bothered to keep up with individual github releases. Is there some sort of website or plugin that just has all the recomps/ports that released/are being released all in one place? And if there’s an update you can just update from it without checking GitHub? Doesn’t have to have game files just an easy all in one place to keep track of everything

Kind of how the ps vita has vitadb

Hello just wanted to ask if anyone was able to finish and play it without crash on steam deck? i always get crashes on the second level for spider-noir. Also what are needed to play it properly on steam deck?

Help

I have headcrab + assela installed and I usually update steam through headcrab. Today, it's not working. I ran the updater but the slssteam apparently doesn't launch when the process is finished. I uninstalled and installed headcrab again but this doesn't fix the issue either. Help please?

With the influx of games being ported to webpages.

Anyone had any luck with playing them?

Issue: Pre-rendered cutscenes (like Gaia in the intro) play fine. However, as soon as real-time 3D geometry renders (starting right on the Main Menu screen), Kratos's character model collapses into a garbled, flat "sprite" mesh with floating or missing geometry.

Things I've Already Tried: *Set render_resolution to 1080p in gow3.ini *Tried toggling gpu_readback (Deferred vs Precise) *Tried launching both US (CUSA01623) and EU (CUSA01715) dumps *Deleted local runtime app state and ini files to force a clean boot *Tested RADV_PERF=noaccel launch options

Questions:

Does anyome know how to fix this ?

Is this a known RDNA2 / RADV Vulkan vertex buffer readback issue on Linux, or is there a specific script or binary patch needed to map real-time mesh vertices correctly on Steam Deck?

Hi. So, many many moons ago, I bought the original Dead Space (2008) on my EA account and today I decided to attempt to play it on my Steam Deck but couldn't.

I downloaded the game onto my Windows PC and ran it without problems, and then copied the entire game folder over to the Steam Deck. I added the exe file to steam, selected Proton Experimental as compatibility. Normally, when I've copied files over this way I am able to launch games and just play. But with this one, it's says something like "Sorry, this game requires an Origin account to play"

So with that, I can see Proton Experimental compatibility seems to work. But, I thought this same could be played without the shitty EA account login etc. I do NOT want to install any EA launchers. Is there a way to bypass this on the Deck like typing something into the launch instructions etc? I can't believe a game from 2008 still wants access to Origin!!!

Many thanks for any replies/help

I need help, I downloaded a few games from steam rip and wen i try to open a game i recieve this mensage... try with Proton qt, lutris, heroic etc etc and i get

Hello, en lançant gears of war E-day de steam-rip, via lutris j'ai un message :

Gears of war E-day detected an unexpected shutdown from the last launch of the game, It is possible that this war caused by your graphics settings. Would you like to reset the graphics settings to default

Si je mets yes je reste sur un écran noir, et si je met No ça quitte.
Quelqu'un à réussi à passer ça ?
J'ai testé avec proton experimental et la dernière version de GE proton mais les résultats sont identiques.

Its weird, its funny, come see what's on deck!

has anyone been able to get this run?(on deck)

I’ve got it and tried it from multiple sources. I’ve been using proton GE11.7, I make sure to install the runtimes for like visual c++. have just had no luck whatsoever just getting it to even launch.

if you’ve played it and know any dependencies I might be missing or something or idk please help 🥺

Yo.

I'm trying to run Batman Arkham Asylum. I dowloaded from GOGUnlocked and moved the installation folder to my SD Card on my Steam Deck.

I set my Proton to GE-Proton11-7-x86_64 and I keep getting the error "To run this application, you must install .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.6 (x64)."

So my idea is to install .NET with Protontricks but I have no idea how to do that either.

Any help would be appreciated!

With the PS5 now jail broken, when do you think all the games will be available for free on Steamdeck, like from fitgirl or steamrip?

The weekend is here! So what’s everyone playing? Whether it’s something new, an old favourite, or something you’re emulating, drop it in the comments.

Don’t just list your games, let’s talk about them. What are you into right now? Is it living up to your expectations? Did you hit a frustrating boss, find a hidden gem, or are you finally get around to something that’s been sitting in your backlog forever?

Jump in, share what you’re playing, and talk with others about their games too. Looking for recommendations? Want to rant about a tough level? All of that is fair game.

So, what’s on your playlist this weekend?

So anyone know what the deal is with Azahar closing out after trying to run a Title?

Yes, I know about the File Extensions needing to be Decrypted, and-or Changed. Used to work perfectly, but now, I select a Title, ANY Title, and the Emu closes out. Especially Urban Trial Freestyle. Was working perfectly, but now...nope. I found a Appimage for the latest, I can run a few items, but UTF 1 and 2 still close out the Emu.

Oh, I also use EmuDeck to Update the Emus, but when I tried to Update Azahar, it still is the same Build (probably the latest Alpha Release it is Updating)
