I have headcrab + assela installed and I usually update steam through headcrab. Today, it's not working. I ran the updater but the slssteam apparently doesn't launch when the process is finished. I uninstalled and installed headcrab again but this doesn't fix the issue either. Help please?

Issue: Pre-rendered cutscenes (like Gaia in the intro) play fine. However, as soon as real-time 3D geometry renders (starting right on the Main Menu screen), Kratos's character model collapses into a garbled, flat "sprite" mesh with floating or missing geometry.

Is this a known RDNA2 / RADV Vulkan vertex buffer readback issue on Linux, or is there a specific script or binary patch needed to map real-time mesh vertices correctly on Steam Deck?

Hi. So, many many moons ago, I bought the original Dead Space (2008) on my EA account and today I decided to attempt to play it on my Steam Deck but couldn't.

I downloaded the game onto my Windows PC and ran it without problems, and then copied the entire game folder over to the Steam Deck. I added the exe file to steam, selected Proton Experimental as compatibility. Normally, when I've copied files over this way I am able to launch games and just play. But with this one, it's says something like "Sorry, this game requires an Origin account to play"

So with that, I can see Proton Experimental compatibility seems to work. But, I thought this same could be played without the shitty EA account login etc. I do NOT want to install any EA launchers. Is there a way to bypass this on the Deck like typing something into the launch instructions etc? I can't believe a game from 2008 still wants access to Origin!!!

I'm trying to run Batman Arkham Asylum. I dowloaded from GOGUnlocked and moved the installation folder to my SD Card on my Steam Deck.

I set my Proton to GE-Proton11-7-x86_64 and I keep getting the error "To run this application, you must install .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.6 (x64)."

So my idea is to install .NET with Protontricks but I have no idea how to do that either.

Any help would be appreciated!

So anyone know what the deal is with Azahar closing out after trying to run a Title?

Yes, I know about the File Extensions needing to be Decrypted, and-or Changed. Used to work perfectly, but now, I select a Title, ANY Title, and the Emu closes out. Especially Urban Trial Freestyle. Was working perfectly, but now...nope. I found a Appimage for the latest, I can run a few items, but UTF 1 and 2 still close out the Emu.

Oh, I also use EmuDeck to Update the Emus, but when I tried to Update Azahar, it still is the same Build (probably the latest Alpha Release it is Updating)

Hello everyone, I am having trouble trying to get "Forever Ago" to launch. It's Steam Deck Verified so I thought it'd work without any issues.

I've had a search but couldn't find a relevant solution. Here are things I've tried:

• Adding .exe from a pre-installed version and trying different Proton versions: Experimental, 10, 7, GE-Proton
• Installing the Windows dependencies using ProtonTricks
• Using a repack version installing through Steam itself via the setup.exe and trying different Proton versions
• Tried opening the .exe using ProtonTricks launcher

In desktop mode, there is a pop-up for a split-second after pressing play which I had to video record to capture, what does it mean? Thanks

Hi friends. My steam deck while running eden emulator using emudeck in gaming mode for any switch game gives this warning at launch and i have to go 3 steps to start and play. Any fix for this to just make the game directly playable?

So i have the latest Lossless Scaling installed with ASSELA (lsfg-vk branch) and i have the latest lsfg-vk plugin installed in decky. Whenever i put that launch option for lsfg-vk onto a game and i launch it, i see the steam loading screen for a few seconds and then the game crashes. Games work perfectly fine without it. Happens even with linux native games and with games on proton, they just wont launch. I couldnt find any fix so i decided to ask this question here. If anybody had the same problem, did you manage to fix it?
