Question do you think it's better to use "paypal" instead of "my PayPal"?

i have 100$ i want to add but paypal is asking me to add in a card which i don't have (my family helped make the account)

i did research and say people using the "paypal" option and leave the box unchecked for options to pay 4 later (i am paying for full cause i don't want to loan)

before i could do that, should i also cancel automatic payment of paypal first? if not, should i use it for other game sites for steam keys?

i was given 200$ as a gift on october 5th as i added it to my steam without paypal needing to ask to add card for years. now in october 11th after getting paid for doing my job which 100$. i tried to add it, now paypal wants me to add the card,

i tried finding answers until i saw someone posted "Paypal "Pay in 4" Does Work" aas they described that using the "paypal" instead of "my paypal" and leaving the checkbox unmarked to have the options to pay in 4. (although if you're like me, i want to pay in full)

ok and what is your question? I still dont get what you want
just add a card to your paypal im not sure how is the "pay in 4" is relevant

just dont use this option if you want to pay in full right away
