Steam could go down and i'd still refuse to use epic lmao, steam being insanely objectively better isn't the problem with epic

I would turn to pirated games before I go to epic, and I haven't pirated a game since I opened my steam account 15+ years ago.

I don't know if it makes me a piece of shit or not but Ill pirate games that specifically don't go on Steam. I haven't for a long time but I think I pirated a couple of games that were going through the goofy Ubisoft launcher and maybe something for whatever EA was trying to do. If it's on Steam I'll buy it - usually by wishlisting and waiting for a sale.

me too, i was just looking how to emulate or use a decompilation of Ico because i have no other way to play it and it felt a little bit wrong hahahaha

but hey i would gladly buy it if it was easily available

I take all the free games but have still purchased games I already own on Epic on Steam 😭. Haven't spent a dime on the Epic Store.

Dude i stopped getting the free epic games cuz they only give out shovelware nowdays, even with the huge backlog i have from when they gave good stuff i still don't have epic installed lmao

It really has been pretty awful lately. They'll pop up with a decent run of free games during the holidays, but even then, it's like Cat Quest or some shit as the highlight.

I still check once a week because I'm a sucker and they have dropped surprises in the past.

Well, I mean...it is a significant part of it... Or at least it is why we can see how much of what epic does is complete bullshit

If steam went down I'd get out my vpn and torrent

Steam hands every reboot and causes issues with things opening on my machine, I have to manually kill the application and relaunch. Still not switching to epic.

if Steam goes down. I will personally go back to school at whatever age that is, and I will learn to engineer and program a new launcher to make sure you don't have to use Epic.

Thank you ZealousidealSquare25

if Steam goes down I'd rather play MSDOS games off a floppy disk than use a fucking Epic product
