my pc gave me exactly 10 seconds to load steam to store, so that'd make library 7 seconds, as the last 3 were loading the stores webpage

The other half is that Steam lets you choose where to open to in the first place. You can pick "load the library outright" instead of loading into the store and then going to the library with a click.

I don't remember EGS offering that, so EGS is gonna be 5.5s to the store and then another however long to switch to the library.
