Help Can you put an uncovered Tramontina 6 quart braiser under a broiler?

Hello,

I am making a rice and chicken dish that will cook in the oven, covered, for about one hour. Then I would like to remove the lid and crisp up the top of the dish under our broiler for 15-30 minutes. We have two broilers we can use, one gas and the other electric. The braiser I'm thinking of using is the Tramontina Try-Ply Stainless Steel 6 quart braiser. Any suggestions or warnings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The only information that I could find is that it is rated to 500 degrees. So people do use it in the broiler. The recommendation is to contact Tramontina customer support and ask. Sorry I’m not much help. I hope it turns out well. Sounds yummy

I just made a chicken and rice dish in this exact pan last weekend. It cooked in a 375 degree oven and then I used the broiler for just a quick 2 minutes at the end. It came out perfect!

That’s really helpful. Thank you very much. It seems like a really nice pan. We have other Tramontina tri-ply cookware that we got in a set. I really like the ergonomics, they’re not too heavy or too light, and they seem to cook really evenly. I’m not trying to promote the brand, I just really like it and I was hoping this particular braiser would work.
