Negative political ads
The anti-Cat Clayton ads have almost convinced to vote. For Cat. It’s a sad state of affairs when the best you can say about your qualifications is that one of your opponents is liberal.

Boiler in our south city place is from the 80s and the tech who looked at it last winter basically patted it and said good luck. Got a quote for replacing it and the number made me put the folder down for a week.
Every review I find says the same two things in one breath: expensive, and the work holds up. I understand paying for the second part. What I can't tell is how that plays on a 100 year old house where every job opens a wall and finds a surprise. Cheap on an old house gets expensive in a different way, I've done that math once already.
If you put real money into an old place with them, did the price stay the price? And how did they handle the surprise in the wall part?
