General Got love for The Lamenters but they should have answered the call to defend Baal.

“I contacted the Lamenters. They responded unfavourably. If they were of a mind to obey our call they are too depleted to help us. It is a sign of the bond between the chapters of the blood that they are the only ones to say no”. Chapter Master Dante, Red Council Meeting. Dante, ch11.

Listen man I get it, theyre PRIMARIS Marines, theyre gonna be pretty tough but I don't think even a primaris marine can survive fifteen seconds straight of a heavy bolter mag dumping into his face point blank range....

Game Feedback Techmarine Space Wolves Right Shoulder request

Post image
• Upvotes

I understand current standpoint from Devs is that the Right Shoulder is for the Admech/Omnissiah on Techmarine. That said even when this came out I thought it was based off the Iron Priest Right Shoulder. Now I know we Techmarine Iron Priests are eatin good this last update. But I send humble prayers to the Machine Gods to make this available for Techmarine. Thank you for reading :)

General For the fans of Space Marine 2 who are unfamiliar with the tabletop, which of these Tyranids would you like to see included in the game?

I'm always delighted watching people unfamiliar with Tyranids see the crazy range of potential enemies that could be included in the game, so I thought I'd show off some of the monsters I'd love to see in the game.

For reference, the line up features:

  1. The Haruspex, a creature whose sole purpose is to eat everything it can fit inside its mouth like a giant angry roomba. Its incredibly aggressive and can swallow Space Marines whole.
  2. The Maleceptor. Take a Carnifex, make it 2-3 times bigger, and then give it the same set of powers as a Zoanthrope...and then make them stronger. That's basically a Maleceptor. A fusion of monstrous size and psychic power, its mere presence causes peoples heads to explode from the energy radiating from it.
  3. The Toxicrene. Always surrounded by a cloud of toxic spores, the Toxicrene bathes the battlefield in poison, making it impossible for the enemy to fight in the open, as the toxic spores are also corrosive and will eat through masks, rebreathers and helmets, causing its enemies to dissolve into sludge before you're even in reach of its whip like tendrils.
  4. The Tervigon. It spawns Termagants like a giant walking incubator, and energizes them to fight by driving them into a killing frenzy. Its also extraordinarily resilient and can rip apart tanks and tear down fortress walls in its claws.

At the end I also included a handy size chart for how big these models are on the tabletop. Most of them are about the size of a Mutalith Vortex Beast, and the Tervigon is even larger.

So, which of these sounds most appealing to be featured as a boss in operations mode?

Operations Death Watch Appreciation Post

The best players wear lore-accurate death watch gear. There is no debate. I've been running crucible, and get hard on when both my teammates rock up to the barge in death watch gear because I know the run will end in victory, and they wont rage quit at their first downing.

Death watch is the chapter of the Sigismunds of the game (I know I know, not actually a chapter).

Shout out to you guys who carry through Crucible

Clip How To Cloak Cancel on sniper

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Mostly wanted to make this so I can link it to people if they need it.

So, to do camo cloak cancel most will probably be aware of the one that uses firing your weapon to cancel it as early as possible, but, there is a way that cancels it at the moment of activation, which fully negates a cooldown from happening, meaning it is back up as soon as you exit cloak, heres how to do it.

To begin, you want to press ability, wait for the moment your marine presses the button on his gauntlet, then immediately melee, then immediately backstep to get out of the melee animation quicker, in the video linked, the timing that I use is the sound of bolt carbine shots going off as the tempo for Ability>Melee>backstep.

Why would one use camo cancel you may ask? because it activates all perks that proc off of manually activating it, such as perks like:

Purification, to restore all contested hp.

Ambush/targeted shot, for a massive damage boost.

Lingering concealment/persistence for repositioning/massive survivability and stagger resist.

While also having back up in your back pocket for emergencies.

A note, the damage bonus you get from camo cloak lies to you, it is not "on the next hit" like the text says, it is actually on the next hit, AND for 2s afterwords, meaning every shot/melee hit gains that damage buff for the duration, a good indicator for when it is still up is with lingering concealment, if you are still invis after breaking camo cloak, you still have the damage buff.

Be careful, however, when used in rapid succession, upon the 4th use in 10s, it will begin directly eating an increasing percentage portion of your camo cloak charge with each subsequent use, then continue draining as normal, to reset this debuff refrain from using camo cloak for 10s.

Lore Discussion Why do you call yourself a BT "fan"????? Because of this guy right here.

Call me a BT larper all you want but this Chad is too stubborn to die. When a soldier suggested they abandon Helsreach, that soldiers neck got snapped. Grimaldus is that part of Dorn that is too stubborn to yield even to the very end. There is more to the Black Templars than just racism and "Screw the Codex", and this Chaplain shows it.

Operations Highest point in the game for me

Highest point in his game for me just happened

Some games give you opportunities to have a real hero moment where you really live the power fantasy. This happened for me earlier today during my Absolute Tactical grind for a cape.

Joined an in progress on Ballistic Engine.
Dropped in during a sandstorm, 1 brother was dead with a respawn timer at 250+, the other has 10% health and a mortal wound.
Neurothrope at 95%. 2 Lichters and a full swarm of warriors and minoris.

Dropped in and both Lichters are on me, Argent Edge was the shining star. Didn’t miss a parry, took them both down, execute explosion took out some rabble.

Dropped an Auspex on Terminus and two heroic plasma shots and a full load of deathwatch grenades took it to the ground. Finished it off with two more plasma shots. Revives brother 1. Brother 2 respawns and we dog walk the rest. Peak.

Lore Discussion If the Dev team needs some inspiration for the Mortifactors Pack, here’s some from the Lore

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

Once again, I do not have a Discord so if somebody wants to copy paste and relay this to the dev team on there that would be awesome.

Chapter Master Magyars vambrace: These armed vambraces are made from the carved bones of former heroes of the chapter - source Warriors of Ultramar

Skeleton Aquila: This was first seen on Chapter Master Magyar, its a Aquila made of ribs and bones in the shape of the imperial Aquila, this is worn other marines in the chapter as well, and even the Legion of the Damned - source Swordwind

Skull carved over helmet: Mortifactors of the 1st, 6th through 10th company, wear skulls of their first kills. Whether that’s a ork skull, Tau skull, Tyranid etc. Neophytes wear it on their bare heads as they aren’t allowed to have helmets and blooded battle Brothers carve them over their own helmets. - source Taker of Heads

Bloody purity seals and Posulan runes: purity seals worn by Morifactors are usually inked in blood, and are written in the language of their planet of Posul. - source Legacy of Posul

Having skulls and bone necklaces is cool, but that’s been done before in other DLC‘s like the Carcharodons and space wolves so I think having other type of trophy related bits would be cool instead of copy and paste the same thing.

What if the new Champion Pack is something like this for heavy? I would love a helmet like this one and a shoulder cape.

Fashion Marine I realized that I don't really have to stick to any chapter or be lore accurate so I made some marine looks based solely on how cool they look in my opinion.
