Especially your class specific ones, in the higher tiers some of the draw backs don’t justify that minuscule amount of extra exp. Practice some Risk Tolerance brothers - a little less xp + successful run or possible chance of failing the run + losing xp, just for that extra scraps of 30xp.

I am not talking about Spacewolves, i am specifically talking about chapter larpers like Dark Angels, Iron Hands and Imperial Fist using the NEW FUR SHOULDERS!
it looks so stupid on non Spacewolves, and yes i am perfectly fine with Titus cosplays, but using on other chapters really breaks my immersion with this game.
It looks so bad...

Brothers! We all agree that the lack of meaningful crucible rewards is a big problem. Well, here is one solution.
1) To start with, instead of 4/6 prestige perks being activated, let all 6 perks be activated.
2) Let all simple damage increase/health increase prestige perks be removed and replaced with better abilities.
3) Now for the fun part. Let each crucible tier unlock one prestige perk on completing it. This way, players will never need to play their classes without their base perks, like it happens with the current prestige system.
4) Additionally, each crucible/prestige tier should passively buff base stats - 2% increased damage dealt, 2% reduced damage taken, 3% increased health and 5% increased ability recharge rate. Thus after completing all 6 tiers of crucible, the class will have 12% increased damage dealt, 12 % reduced damage taken, 18% increased health and 30% increased ability recharge rate.
5) This makes prestige difficult to achieve, but at the same time it also makes it infinitely more, for the lack of a better word, "prestigious". And ultimately, it serves to ensure that crucible mode has inherent meaning behind its grind. You literally survive the crucible to come out stronger on the other side.
Of course, the big problem is what happens with those who are already maxxed out. Furthermore, what about those who want to be able to continue to challenge themselves. For the former, I'd say it is reasonable to reset them to crucible 4, aligned to prestige 4. So for the final two prestige perks (which they wouldn't have as max is 4 prestige perks), they still need to do the crucible tiers. But knowing Saber, I'm sure they'd just reset it completely for all the players. As for latter who are happy with the current challenge, I'd say the activation of the prestige perks should apply the crucible tier permanent class buffs. That way, if someone wants to run crucible without these buffs, they can still do so.
Our pledge should be to walk the crucible and achieve salvation through prestige, as our reward!

I’m looking for a game to play for 30–40 minutes at night after a hard day at work. I just want to turn my brain off and enjoy a game while listening to a podcast in the background. Is this the right game for me? Are the servers in Europe dead?

Crucible Mode absolutely needs global modifiers visible. That's it, it's really not that complicated. Why can't the team know that enemies have increased damage or that friendly fire is enabled, especially when 99% of randoms don't communicate to tge team anyways, modifiers that actively negatively affect the team needs to be visible, and there is zero excuse why it isn't already in the game beyond, as they have done many times, the devs actively fucking over the playerbase for "additional challenge", just like the summer of bugged stratagems. Every update, they take 2 steps forward and 10 steps back, Every. Single. Fucking. Update. Techmarine was the last update that had any actually QA testing (I will not count Patch 14 since terminator sorcerer was and to an extent still is, unbeatable in certain situations (i forget which, but a Youtuber have done the math and he is still mathematically unfair, and situations such as when his clones shoot out the beam when your in a corridor, it can be an instakill and completely blind you)). I said it before and I'll say it agian, every update makes me less and less confident in the devs, between constant, gamebreaking bugs in each update, to forcing artificial difficulty by constantly forcing bugged stratagems, to outright refusing to listen to the community on what needs to be buffed and nerfed (such as reworking Tactical first when vanguard has been the weakest class that the community has been begging for years to get reworked, to the relic melta that desperately needs a damage buff ((which was mentioned in the update beta, really seems like community concensus in patch 14, as per usual, went completely ignored)). It's especially egregious when things that are extremely obvious (such as being able to see the team modifers in crucible) aren't added, that I think the devs have just stopped caring about the community and the state of the game.
Sorry for the rant, but it needs to be said. I have 3k hours in the game and have been playing since patch 5, and either because the devs are actually incompetent, or because they have stopped caring since they know it's a cash cow they can milk, to me the future of the game looks bleary, and I don't think at this point I trust Saber with SM3. If it wasn't for the hours and money I have poured into the game I would have already walked away, but I think at this point, if something doesn't change soon, I'm am going to walk away, which I find quite sad, my father got me into warhammer when I was 7, and SM2 is by far my favorite 40k game and one of my favorite games in general, which is why i find the devs apparent attuide towards the community to be a real gutpunch. For all the Sigsmund wannabes, go ahead and leave your downvote and leave, don't bother commenting, cause it's going to fall on deaf ears when you have nothing to add besides "well just get gud bro".

I’m guessing if they added a class for a terminator, it would be after the apothecary and a librarian. But by then we might be around the release of SM3 considering a librarian (if we get one) would release in 2028.
It would be cool if they made the Heavy into a terminator but, they’d have to change so much that a new class would be easier tbh.
He would probably have a higher base movement speed with no sprint. Same melee options as the current tactical & a power fist option and an assault cannon for his “sidearm.”

Big E is nothing more than an overinflated failed leader that fostered distrust amongst his legions.
We’re over here yelling “for the emperor” daily but what do we truly know about Big E? His past can’t even be verified as truth just myths. He’s seen as this omnipotent being but he’s just a man in weak flesh, who was mortally wounded in the end.
…….Death to the false emperor!

I know the parry window is smaller with it but i literally cant land a single parry with it anymore and Im a tactical/bulwark main. Im having really bad issues landing any parries with it.

I’ve been trying to use the Full Throttle Skip to get straight to the Shoulder Bash Heavy Attack. When it works it’s fine but the few times I hold it just a bit too long I get stuck in this Animation that practically guarantees my death or makes me lose a ton of HP. I would change it out for something else but the other options are kinda garbage.
I’m gonna get Extremis Slayer which is the next Bottom Row Perk once I Max out the Relic Tier. So that leaves me with replacing this Skill with the Double Stomp which isn’t bad I guess but feels a bit excessive. Or go with Momentum Gain for the +3% Light Attack Damage on consecutive Light Hits which seems alright-ish. If Hard Target was available while still allowing me to take Extremis Slayer for the reduced Ranged Damage i’d take it right away. This Weapon is kinda good at everything and doesn’t take much skill to use. At least not up until you get this Perk that helps you do so much damage it kinda feels like throwing when you don’t pick it up.

Hey all SM2 fans, here is my idea for a new game mode: survival mode.
Difficulty: Absolute but with hidden modifiers like crucible mode.
Gameplay: You spawn with no weapons, but you can loot weapons around the map similar to the campaign. Guns have very little ammo and melee weapons have a high chance to break, which forces you to change builds on the fly, but you will also be forced to punch and stomp enemies a lot.
Objective: Dont die, capture strategic points around the map and defend the area. (Can reinforce the area with turrets and guardsmen with a hidden resource found on map).
Enemies: Majority of enemies are tyranids, but Chaos has a high chance of spawning during capturing strategic points.
Rewards: The Son Of Dorn title.
... do you guys like my concept? Any strengths or weaknesses?

The best players wear lore-accurate death watch gear. There is no debate. I've been running crucible, and get hard on when both my teammates rock up to the barge in death watch gear because I know the run will end in victory, and they wont rage quit at their first downing.
Death watch is the chapter of the Sigismunds of the game (I know I know, not actually a chapter).
Shout out to you guys who carry through Crucible

Ce mode me rend complètement fou ! 😤

I honestly hate how furious gun strike and counteroffensive protocols barely add any damage. In my mind I was supposed to be doing 60% more damage if I procced them both and I also had my Nocturnes retort perk active to basically delete anything.
If Nocturne's Retort is already active a single hit does 80 damage or so. With furious gun strike it went up to 86 and when paired with counteroffensive protocols it went up to 89...
What kinda weird spaghetti code bs is going on with these numbers?

In general there's a lot of people making posts about prestige rework ideas that are not good, such as more perma unlocks and modifiers when they introduce true levels, among other things. These in general just aren't good ideas as it will mess with game balance and just introduce way more of the kind of grind you 'feel' you need to do in order to be competitive at higher difficulty levels.
Really, the prestige rework doesn't need that much to be functional. This is what I would expect from the prestige rework:
What Should Happen:
What Shouldn't Happen:
Requiring players to rebuy perks each time they prestige. This introduces the problem of lvl 1 players who tend to not be able to contribute anything. Furthermore, this stops prestige being a true indicator of experience or time in the game as it means some people would rather stay at the prestige they are at instead of having to continue a grind and unlock things they already unlocked again. It also means that if you are playing optimally in regards to resources for whatever resource sink they will add in, you only buy the first row of perks for max efficiency.
In my opinion, so long as it turns out like this, we will be in an ideal situation.

I've been looking through different posts for what people wanted the most for Space Marine 3 (or even adding to 2) and I haven’t seen what I feel is the most basic improvement they could make: Improve the emote wheel. Simple things like adding poses that are already being used by NPCs in the game would be an amazing addition or adding a STOP emote would be very helpful in the game to prevent over eager teammates from triggering a horde, especially for people without mics. Other things such as more ways to celebrate would make the game feel much more alive, I personally felt that being able to interact with the community through the game was the most exciting part and would love to expand that.
I’d love to hear what you all would like added to the emote wheel!

Thats a stupid design and needs fixing. Remove their debuffs along with them.
If somebody out of your squad leaves early you should be able to quit without and penalty as well. Its not necessarily the end of the world but its backward logic and annoying especially with your average random brothers.
Also while at it, add a fucking icon to whoever has friendly fire on. Insane they shipped without such essential thing
