Does anybody else sometimes feel like a rimworld pawn irl? Like the other day i saw a pretty sunset and all i could think of was my mood increasing and the cause being "saw a nice sunset". Anybody else dealing with this? Lmk

I recently started my second colony, and was struck by the wastefulness of my past self.

In my first colony, when i managed to capture an unwavering prisoner, i wanted to psychologically and physically torture him by placing him in a doorless room with human corpses and a nutrient dispenser just for the fun of it (also he had his right eye and tongue removed)

Now, however, my eyes have opened, and early on i managed to capture another unwavering prisoner in my new second colony. Now, instead of sensensly torturing him, i will focus on what's inside, namely his organs.

Now, i have "prepare carefully" mod installed, and i have the option to harvest both kidneys and both lungs. Now my question is: will this cause his death? Sidequestion: are there any consequences from removing the right kidneys of my HEALTY and LOYAL colonists? Just one organ, no more no less, because it's fun to share. Obviously will do for everyone i capture, regardless if i plan to recruit them or not.

Old art. I really want to get back to do rimeworld art.

A twin-seat attack helicopter based on the Italian A129 Mangusta ("Mongoose"). Using Rabiosus's VTOL Vehicle framework, the Mongoose flies around the local map and can stop most raids in their tracks. Fully war-crime enabled out of the box.

This mod is a work in progress and feedback is welcome.

OVERVIEW

* Crew: pilot, gunner
* Armament: rotary cannon, rockets (fired in pairs or 6-rocket salvos).
* Research prerequisites: Aerial Vehicles (VVE) and Heavy Turrets.
* Combat Extended compatible (recommended, even).

UNIQUE MECHANICS

* Ammunition and rockets can only be re-loaded on the ground, from storage or stockpiles.
- Vanilla: the cannon needs steel and the rockets need chemfuel.
- Combat Extended: needs 20x102mm NATO rounds and 57mm rockets (AP version unlocked with Simple Launchers, HE and HEAT versions unlocked with Advanced Launchers).

KNOWN ISSUES

* Both the cannon and the rockets use a turn-to-cursor/target aiming mechanic (rotateVehicleToTargetWhileTargeting). This results in the weapons effectively getting a fight with each other about which will control the rotation of the helicopter, which is particularly irritating when automatic targeting is active. I am pondering this and will update once there's a solution figured out.
