Hello everyone, one week to go before our first open mic night @ The Platform Tavern. This brand new and fresh open mic night that is starting in Southampton. It will be every other Tuesday in-till the end of the year. We will be platforming local talent and putting on a great night of grass roots music. Sign ups are from 6pm and music is from 7pm. Since there’s another weekly game I’m sharing this once more. It got more people playing last time so I hope it’s useful to anyone new to Southampton or anyone who’s desperate for a game. I help a non profit organise social games at Oasis Academy Lords Hill SO16 0XN every Tuesday and Thursday night so ideal for anyone in Lordshill, Lordswood, Coxford, Aldermoor, Rownhams, Nursling, Millbrook, Maybush, Redbridge, Shirley, Bassett and town. It's 1hr 8 aside on astro. All levels welcome even if you’re not fit or haven’t played in years.

There’s no commitment, you just turn on and play whenever you're available and all you need are football boots.

Hi all, I’m looking for recommendations for a photographer who is doing festive photo shoots please! Ideally for our small family but just our little one (6 months) would be okay too! A lot I’ve seen are focused around older children and he’s only just sitting up on his own. Looking for a more natural style rather than the typical white studio. TIA

This fell off my bag yesterday on either Onslow Road or Portswood Road between the big Charlotte Place roundabout and Sainsburys.

My mum put my great granddad's antique plane in the bin and the bin got collected this morning I only just found out it was put in the bin and I'm heartbroken as it's the only thing if his I had. Ik the chances are very very slim but if anyone reading this works for the council could help me get it back again ik the chances are next to none but I'm just so upset.

I was the one who alerted staff and got you kicked out!

Maybe think harder next time before ruining the experience for dozens of other people huh?

If you were the one driving this car down Bournemouth Road and Bassett Avenue at 20 past eight, please go back to the lucky dip you got your licence from and put it back on there!

Going below 25mph in a 60 and then 40, braking for no reason, and then coming nearly to a full dead stop when switching from the left-hand lane to the ahead lane where the M3 Southbound ends despite there being no traffic. Absolutely god-awful driving!

You should also count your lucky stars there was traffic coming the opposite way on Bournemouth Road or otherwise you would have been overtaken by a double-decker bus. Embarrassing!

I’ve just graduated and had to move back home w my parents in Southampton (I can’t find a job). But I have no idea where to meet people that aren’t uni students. Are there any events/ clubs for young adults? I’d be super grateful as it’s getting pretty boring haha

Usually I detest these types but I will take great pleasure in sending a letter to the council about the matter
