Meanwhile in Germany we have "Fußbodenschleifmaschinenverleih" A store where you can rent a sander, specifically to sand wooden flooring.

Because we need to specify everything to the last detail. I think my whole country is the reason for autism.

I like that psychology joke where, where before you can give an autism diagnosis, you have to check whether they're German first.

I like the one James May did on the Grand Tour.

A Californian man and a German man are in a bar, drinking. The Californian says, "Man, I sure would love to drive on the autoban." The German says, "Ja, ist good. But it's much harder to get a driving license in Germany."

"Hmm, so what would happen if you didn't have a license?" "You must have a license to drive." "Yeah I know. But I'm asking, what if you didn't? How bad would it be?" "No no, you cannot do this." "I get it. But I'm talking about what if it was late at night, nobody's on the road, and you just want to go out for a spin..." The German says, "No! It is impossible to drive without a license!"

My German neighbour was telling me that he lost his licence for drink driving and to get it back, he had to do a drink driving course, where they actually drank beer and drove around the course to teach drivers how it affects their driving.

He drove better after 6 beers, to which his wife replied "Yeah, but you're an alcoholic!".

RIP Axel.

Lol, that is an amazing story.

I kinda wish we did the same in the states. That would be so fun, "get loaded and drive around a closed track to see how bad you are." But I suspect the same thing might happen! "Damn, half of these guys drive better when loaded up. We might be sending the wrong message with these tests."

Hehe, I think that's only half the truth. You must make an MPU a "Medizinische und psychologische Untersuchungen" and a "Fahrsicherheitstraining" (See a special doctor and a driver safety course). You should also see a lawyer, because the MPU is tricky. They ask you what to do, when you see someone jumping from the roof behind your car through the mirror. When you answer, you call the ambulance - you are wrong: you correct the position of your mirror because you shouldn't see the rooftops.

I just found that "AufmerksamkeitsdefizithyperaktivitĂ€tsstörung" (ADHD) is one of the longest German words đŸ€Ł kinda funny, cause you lose focus while reading it.
