My mother told me that there was a hippie kind of restaurant she went to around 1976 in the current location of Mr. Goodcents. Does anyone remember what the restaurant was before? I’ve worked for Dashboard Electronics for the past 3 years. If you want to be ripped off and rushed into purchases that’s exactly what these guys do. Tj is out of the game and will lie to you to get you to buy product from his store. Matt and Tj took over ownership and it has gone down hill since. They do not take care of their employees very well and will degrade them in front of customers. With my recent departure from them, they have taken my last hourly paycheck and all of my commission I earned. They stated it’s for an outside business deal which is not legal. I showed up on time everyday while I was with them and did whatever they asked, which was usually followed up with Tj chewing the employees out for on average 45 minutes. No incentive to work here whatsoever. I would stay away far far away from this business.

My wife mentioned to me the other night that she's never been to a corn maze and has always wanted to try. I've done a quick google search and saw that there is the Sioux Falls Corn Maze and the Heartland Corn Maze.

Which one is better? I want to take her out to one and odds are they're both great, but I figured I'd ask my virtual neighbors who know more than me if there's one that's superior between the two or if there is a third or fourth option I'm not even aware of.

We have some skis my kids outgrew. I know that Great Bear has a ski swap a couple of times a year but have never gone to it. Does anyone know what is a generally reasonable amount people see there for good condition, name-brand kids’ skis, boots, poles, etc?

I don’t have any idea what kind of price range people expect and GB won’t provide any kind of insight.

I’d like for people to get a good deal, but also would like to recoup a little of the money we spent on equipment that was bought brand new and barely used.

hi everyone, i’m not sure if this type of post is allowed but i’m kind of at my wits end of what to do right now.

i’m 19 & female, and my last living parent passed away 2 months ago. i don’t have any other family members, i’ve had a really unfortunate life/family situation. i have been living with my significant other and he broke up with me last week and is expecting me to move out within the next 2 weeks, and i only just got hired at a burger king and haven’t started work yet. even when i do, i’m going to be making around $15 an hour for a very questionable amount of hours.

i have nowhere to go and am preparing for homelessness here in sioux falls and i am extremely terrified. i do fortunately have a car but it’s on it’s last leg with all kinds of issues. i have a sub 500 credit score and a decent amount of debt to pay off.

i wanted to ask for advice because i have no clue what i’m doing, and frankly im at the lowest point of my life. is there anywhere with free room/board if i do some type of work/chores? im really hesitant about homeless shelters here because of things ive heard and seen. i am currently planning on living in my car but i’m really scared for the winter time and also my car potentially breaking down completely.

Hey everyone, I’m from out of town and was trying to visit Falls Park last night when I accidentally turned onto Indiana and ended up right in the middle of what looked like a pretty big street fight. I honestly wasn’t expecting to see anything like that. Is Sioux Falls usually like this, or did I just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? I was really looking forward to seeing the city, but I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable coming back after that. Is this a common thing around here?
