To those Transvestigating Shen

This has probably been done to death, but I feel like this video has a pretty good message in relation to what I've been seeing in some of this sub.

That being;

I don't think it's our place to care about whether or not Shen is cis, a repressing trans person, or some secret third option.

I'm sure those telling him to stop "repping" aren't doing it out of genuine malice. They probably just don't want someone to go through what they must have on their way to finding their true selves.

Yet my point still stands.

Whatever he is, it's HIS BUSINESS. Leave mothafuckas alone.

If someone is in "gender therapy" and posting content which has a lot of red flags for repression then I do think it's fair of trans people to encourage that person to accept themselves.

The world is absolutely full of shit telling people not to transition. Don't act like a handful of trans people on the internet trying to encourage people to resist that negative programming is the issue.

You're assuming that becoming trans gender is the only possible outcome for gender therapy.  He may decide he's a GNC male.  He may be nonbinary.

What you are trying to do is force him to conform to your expectations, which is exactly what transphobes are doing.

I've done gender exploration to great extents and i am still convinced i am cis... not everyone is trans just for questioning
