Any idea how to dispute this fine ?

I'm looking for doctor recommendations. I have severe joint hypermobility which is now causing nerve compression/pain in my right arm and shoulder.

Back home, hypermobility isn't widely recognized, so I’ve never been formally diagnosed. I really want to avoid wasting time and money (especially since I don't have insurance) on doctors who will dismiss it or just tell me to stretch.

Does anyone know a specific Rheumatologist or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) / Physiatrist in Sharjah or who specializes in or is highly knowledgeable about hypermobility spectrum disorders / EDS?

Any leads on hypermobility-aware physical therapists in the area would also be highly appreciated. Thank you!

I received a fine for “Non-Compliance with Traffic Compulsory Lane for light vehicle” from Sharjah Police on Al Etihad Road this morning.
I need to take the right on Al Etihad Road to go to Chubby Cheeks Nursery at Bin Ham Tower, which requires staying in the extreme right lane from the beginning. However, the policeman seemed to think I was joining the traffic heading towards Dubai.
Can this fine be disputed if I was trying to take the correct turn?
If not, what’s the alternative route to reach Chubby Cheeks Nursery without facing this issue again?
Would appreciate advice from anyone familiar with this route. Thanks!

If a customer purchases a service package from a clinic or service provider but decides not to proceed with all the procedures or services included, can they request a partial refund for the services that were never performed, even if they signed an agreement stating that payments are non-refundable?

If the establishment refuses the refund based on that clause, what legal options are available to the customer in Sharjah?

Has anyone experienced a similar situation and successfully resolved it through consumer protection authorities or the courts?

I would especially appreciate advice on:

Whether a non-refundable clause can prevent a customer from recovering payment for services that were never performed.

Which authority or legal process would be appropriate if a consumer complaint has already been closed without resolving the dispute.

Whether there are any affordable or free options for pursuing a civil claim in Sharjah.

I have already tried administrative complaint channels and am waiting for further responses. Before considering court proceedings, I would like to understand my options and whether pursuing the matter is practical.

I need your legal advice regarding a rental dispute in Sharjah covering the period from July 2025 to July 2026.
I was staying in an apartment and paying the rent directly through Sharjah Municipality. I provided the owner with two months’ advance notice in December 2025, informing him that I would be vacating the apartment. I officially vacated the apartment on 3 March 2026.
Before vacating, I requested an inspection, but the owner did not show up. When I checked with Sharjah Municipality, I was advised that I could hand over the keys if the owner agrees to provide the NOC. Initially, the owner agreed to provide the NOC, but later changed his position and demanded two months’ rent as compensation before issuing it.
Following the court’s instructions, I proceeded with the necessary Sharjah Municipality and SEWA clearances. In June 2026, I obtained the NOC, and the municipality’s finance team confirmed that there was no outstanding balance at that time.
However, after the owner filed another complaint alleging non-payment, I unexpectedly received a message from Sharjah Municipality in September 2026 demanding approximately AED 17,000 under the old case, despite the NOC and the previous confirmation of zero outstanding balance.
Now, in the new case, the court has appointed a financial adviser,asking to owner to pay 3000

Why there is no traffic on al wahda road sharjah to dubai

Hi everyone! I’m planning to travel from the UAE to my home country and I’m planning to take my cat with me. I’m really worried about an issue with his pet passport.
My vet made two mistakes:
color: He wrote “Orange” instead of “White,” then corrected it using white-out.
Breed: He initially wrote “Mix,” then changed it to “British Shorthair” using white-out again. My cat is actually a Persian/Angora mix with long hair.
My cat is microchipped, and his passport has a sticker with the microchip number.
I’m worried these corrections and the incorrect breed description might cause the UAE authorities to reject his veterinary health certificate or prevent him from traveling.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Can I get the passport corrected or reissued while keeping the same microchip number and vaccination records? Should I contact the ministry or the vet first?
Taking my cat with me is absolutely essential, and I’m terrified of being unable to travel with him. Any advice or firsthand experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My baby's two congenital defects were missed during the 5th-month anomaly scan at Central Hospital, Sharjah. Everything was reported as normal, but both defects were discovered after birth. Every doctor I've consulted has told me that these defects shouldn't have been missed.

I basically have a POD card and permit but yesterday i took my dads car which isnt under POD permit and parked it in POD spot Zahia City center
coming back to car i found a sticker from Municipality stating a fine is issue and yes got 1000 AED FINE

I have parked several times with my other family cars in POD , and its usually the city center security asking if i have the card and once i show them they usually go.
i have been doing it for well over 2years

- How did municipality fine me inside CITY CENTER is it even their jurisdiction?
- Can i dispute this fine saying i do have POD card?
- Is it possible someone INTENTIONALLY called municipality and fined?
