Best current local rock bands in Seattle?
What are some recommendations for good bands I can listen to or go see live around Seattle? Preferably rock / shoe-gaze adjacent. Thanks!

Black Ends is the objective answer - they are locally loved and ready to break out but you can still see them at a small local spot
Also check out Zookraught, Spiral XP, Sun Spots, Fell Off, Supercrush, Prim. All established local rock bands with a strong following

The early stuff is more punk, but they've softened up alot. They play very frequently at small to mid-sized venues.
Full disclosure: Yes they are my friends and yes I've known Jon since before he formed the band.

I saw a band at a house show in Ballard a few months back that leaned heavy into the shoegaze wall of sound thing, but I can't remember their name to save my life. There's a decent scene around the university district if you're willing to dig through flyers at the smaller venues.

Henry Mansfield is killing it right now. Leaning on the electro rock/pop side. Steel Beans is fantastic. There's plenty out there

Saw Steel Beans open for Tool in Tacoma. It was kind of weird, per usual for Tool, but the dude killed it.
