This is my first season as an STM and am curious about this Las Vegas road trip experience. The email was short on details. Have they done something similar in the past, and if so, can someone who went share their experience? Is it just a matter of meeting up there and we all have seats in one particular spot, and that's it?
Yeah we were already planning a trip to Vegas later, but had this been something super cool we could've considered alternate plans. But it doesn't sound like it's anything more than just getting seats in the same section.
Edit: Someone mentioned that at a similar event last year that food was provided.
There was a road trip game in Vancouver last year which was the first time they did that for STM. I think it was seats in the same section and a meetup before and that was it by the documentation.
Don't know what they're charging yet, email just says discounted price. As for what all we get, that's what I'm trying to figure out from this thread, because the email barely said anything! 😆
Did you just get this email today? I didn’t receive anything, but we were actually thinking about heading out to this game so I would be interested in seeing the ticket prices. Can anyone who got this share when this sale goes live?
I'd like to see the arena, and this is likely my one and only season to be a STM so want to take advantage of any perks being offered, but can't deny the cons outweigh the positives. Honestly that's likely why they chose it, it's challenging to get us to want to go.
Plus I'll have just returned from visiting Montreal/Bell Centre, so not eager to jump on another plane.
They did Vancouver last season and it was the first time. They basically have a bunch of seat blocks and you pick whichever seat(s) you want. I think they had a pregame meetup at the arena before puck drop, and they also had a room block at a hotel. If I was in town, I might’ve gone just for the fun of it, even though I already had been to Kraken game up there.
As for Vegas…? Besides the fact that I’ll still be out the country that day, fuck Vegas. They won’t be getting a penny from me for the foreseeable future. I’m hoping next season it’ll be in San Jose. I’m so looking forward to going to a game at the Shark Tank one day.
My friend and I went to the Tank last season and are going again in April. It was really fun! But the arena itself is quite old... Really made me appreciate CPA. My seat literally caved in at the end of the game and I'm a small person.
Vegas needs $$$ because they can’t sell out anymore. I hope you get charged a fair price for your ticket because they have dynamic pricing in an older arena.
I go to Vegas every September for a softball tournament. My wife and I went to a pre-season game last year and had a great time!! Go and have a blast. There are many other things besides the strip that you can do while your there.

I’ve never seen this before as an STM, but Vegas is a fun arena. I traveled to the first Kraken NHL game against Vegas in season one and had a blast.
Would I go again? Yeah maybe, but this is probably an expensive way to do it. If you’re really keen on going to the game, book your own way
That’s what we are doing for the games in Finland and it was definitely better value but YMMV
