Casual [Casual] Cat person, dog person, both, or neither? (U.S. residents)

I built LexiMap, a free site that maps answers to everyday questions by U.S. state and county.

This poll asks whether you're a cat person, a dog person, both, or neither:

https://www.leximap.fyi/q/cats-or-dogs?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=samplesize_cat_dog

Choose an answer, then use a U.S. ZIP code or browser location to place your response. No account is needed, and you can browse the results without voting.

These are voluntary, self-selected responses, so the results aren't a representative survey of the U.S.

Marketing [Market Research] How do you pay when travelling abroad? (Everyone 14+ who has travelled to another country or region)

• Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I'm doing some market research on how people pay for things when they travel abroad: cash, credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, local e-wallets, and so on.

I'd love to hear about your real experiences, good or bad.

- **Who:** anyone 14+ who has travelled outside their home country or region

- **Time:** about 1 minutes

- **Anonymous:** no names or contact details collected

- **Link:** https://v.wjx.cn/vm/wcBc5aZ.aspx

If you've ever been stuck at a cash-only shop, had your card declined overseas, or brought way too much cash "just in case", your answers would really help.

Happy to fill in your surveys too, so drop a link in the comments. Thank you!

Academic [Academic / User Research] A survey for the cafeteria experience for college students. (Any college student - Present or Past) (5-10 minutes)

Hello to you all,

I am a student at the University of Minnesota conducting a survey that relates to the cafeteria and food experiences on campus for any present or past college student. If you are a past college student, I apologize for some of the wording within the survey as the questions are written in present tense. This survey does not discriminate which college you attend/attended and its purpose is for a project in one of my design courses. The course takes students through the stages of the design process (right now, we are at user research) and is a prerequisite to be accepted into my major in User Experience (it's actually a perquisite for any design student at the university).

When taking the survey, please keep in mind that the use of the word "cafeteria" refers to any cafeteria you have eaten at on campus because there can be multiple cafeterias on a college campus. This survey also has some open-ended questions that require writing/typing.

After receiving a decent pool of results, I will try to translate the data collected into visual representations (graphs, charts, etc...) and study key takeaways to use for my project.

Any sharing of this survey to others is very welcome.

Your participation is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Marketing Teachers, librarians, and others who work with kids ages 7 to 12: 30-min chat about how kids come up with stories ($30 Target gift card)

• Upvotes

Hi all! I’m hoping to learn from people who work with kids ages 7 to 12: classroom teachers, librarians, after-school and camp staff, tutors, and workshop leaders.

I’m researching how kids come up with ideas, tell stories, and make things, and what helps when they get stuck. You don’t need to run anything special. Your everyday experience with kids is exactly what I’m hoping to hear about.

It’s a 30-minute video call. As a thank-you, I’ll send a $30 Target gift card after the call (US only).

Full transparency: I’m working on something in this space and want to learn from people who actually work with kids before building more.

If you’re interested, here’s the 2-minute sign-up form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSejSkCE9bpfadscGtyDwcmRtQ5sgOt9yiKcBXkSs1nLjeRpMA/viewform

Happy to answer questions in the comments.

Mods, if this isn’t allowed here, just let me know and I’ll take it down.

Academic Business hypothesis testing survey(U.S. 16+ students/(U.S. 18+renters)

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m researching two business ideas and would appreciate your honest feedback. The first is a rental move-in/move-out documentation service: someone visits the property with permission, photographs each room and visible damage, and provides dated, organized photos with a brief condition checklist. It’s designed for people who are busy moving or can’t be there in person. The second is C–B Tutoring, which helps students earning C’s work toward B’s when they lack useful resources or their current study methods aren’t working. It would offer three levels of support, with options including study resources, weekly planning templates, and one-on-one tutoring. If you’re a renter, prospective renter, landlord, or property manager, please complete this 5–7 minute survey about the rental documentation service. I’d also welcome comments on the tutoring idea. Thanks for your help!

Marketing Indian creators: Whats the most annoying part about working with brands(influencers/creators)

Hey everyone,
We're a small team in India researching how creators earn money and we want to help them earn money better. Before we build anything, we want to hear from creators about what actually goes wrong.
Things like:
Brands that only offer free products instead of pay
Late or missing payments
Not knowing what to charge
Briefs that keep changing after you've started
Fake or sketchy brand accounts
If you create on Instagram or YouTube, even if you haven't done a paid collab yet, we'd really appreciate a few minutes of your time:

Academic Too many streaming apps, nothing to watch? Have 5 minutes? (Household Members that pay streaming services)

Hey everyone,

I’m a business student working on a startup idea to make choosing what to watch easier, and I’m trying to understand how people actually decide what to watch when they have multiple streaming services.

I put together a short survey (about 5 minutes) and would really appreciate your input. It’s voluntary, and I want honest experiences, not just positive feedback. Answers like “I don’t have this problem” are just as useful to me as “I spend 45 minutes scrolling every night.”

Survey: https://forms.gle/BM2oe7utZUVXhUaC7

This is a real project, and every response helps. If you’d like a short summary of what I find, let me know in the comments or leave a way to reach you in the form, and I’ll share it once I’ve gathered the results.

Thanks so much for helping with my research! Happy to answer any questions about the project in the comments.
