Hi everyone! I’m helping with a new coliving house in downtown San Francisco, near Union Square and the Financial District, and we currently have a few rooms available.

There are private rooms as well as rooms shared by 2 people. Bathrooms are shared, with 3 showers and 3 restrooms per floor. Some rooms also have a mini-fridge and TV.

Monthly rates start at $1,450, and the minimum stay is 7 days, so it could be a good option if you’re coming to SF for a few weeks or looking for something longer term.

The house is mostly geared toward founders, people in tech, entrepreneurs, interns, and others coming to SF to work on projects or meet people in the startup community.

Hi! I'm looking for someone (18+) with a valid California Class C driver's license and your own car to ride along as my supervising driver while I practice. No teaching or instruction needed.

Details:

• Car: You'd provide the car. Your auto insurance needs to cover a permit driver behind the wheel (worth a quick check with your insurer).
• DMV road test: I'll also need you to come with me to the DMV on test day, let me use your car for the test, and hang out until I'm done. Please bring your current registration and proof of insurance, since the DMV checks both.
• Where: I'm in downtown San Francisco, but folks from Berkeley, Fremont, or anywhere in the Bay are welcome.
• When: 5 sessions, 2 hours each. Super flexible: back-to-back or spread out, mornings through evenings, whatever works for both of us.
• Pay: $100/session ($500 total for the 5 practice sessions). DMV test day is paid separately at $50/hour. Plus $20 per trip to cover your gas and travel.

About me: I have my CA learner's permit and some prior driving experience, so I'm not starting from scratch.

What To Expect
This immersive half-day program is a hands-on introduction to the fascinating world of fungi. Learning to forage for mushrooms is an ongoing life path. We will cover mushroom anatomy for identification, symbiotic tree and plant relationships, poisonous and edible mushrooms, and forest safety. This winter, it will be possible to find edibles such as chanterelle, matsutake, porcini, lion's mane, blewits, black trumpets, hedgehogs, and more. You'll learn foundational skills to be able to go out foraging on your own. The program also includes community building, a cooking demo, and a tasting at the end.

Alan Rockefeller is an acclaimed mycologist renowned for his expertise in DNA barcoding, field photography, and microscopy. With over 20 years of experience, he has documented and photographed more than 2,500 fungal species. Alan has dedicated the past 15 years to studying fungal diversity in Mexico, regularly leading forays and sharing his knowledge with mycology enthusiasts worldwide.
