Badges First timer
Hi. I have never gone to SDCC and was wondering is it hard purchasing tickets? Like do they usually go pretty quick when they are open to purchase? Thanks
CCI will lock us out of Member ID in advance of the Returning Registration sale. It could be a few hours before; it could be a day before.
You want to check:

The law was originally aimed at concert and sports tickets, but it could apply to badge sales. I'm not a lawyer, but if someone is, please give your opinion!
The text of California Assembly Bill AB 1349: reads:
"SEC. 8.Section 22505.5 is added to the Business and Professions Code, to read:22505.5.
Notwithstanding Section 22503.4, 22504, or 22511, it shall be unlawful for a person to knowingly use, cause to be used, provide, sell, offer for sale, market, or facilitate software or services to do, or otherwise engage in, any of the following:
(a)Purchase tickets in excess of posted limits for an online event ticket sale.
(b)Circumvent or evade an electronic queue, waiting period, presale restriction or presale code, ticket purchasing limit, account limitation, or other ticket distribution control established and disclosed by the event presenter, venue operator, rights holder, or ticket seller.
(c)Circumvent or disable a security measure, access control system, or other control or measure used to facilitate authorized ticket sales or authorized entry into an event.
(d)Utilize multiple Internet Protocol addresses, multiple purchaser accounts, multiple email addresses, or other technological means to purchase tickets in excess of posted ticket limits or otherwise evade ticket purchasing restrictions established pursuant to subdivision (b).
(e)Use software, services, automated means, or other technological methods to automate, coordinate, facilitate, or otherwise enable conduct prohibited by this section."
Just as in previous years, they have wiped out all the credit card info in the Member ID accounts. You can enter it during checkout, but it's much faster to preload it, and be able to add it in one click. Remember, badges are not held for you while you checkout.

Haven't gotten notice of professional renewal yet so likely to try for badges from Returning Registration in hopes they'll reimburse me.

Hypothetically, if I were to buy Sunday during returning registration, and Thursday to Saturday during open registration, would I still be able to get Wednesday preview night? Or does the system not like that? Thanks.
To help keep people offering buying groups and people looking for buying groups all in one place, please use this post to look for or to offer spots for Returning Registration (Saturday, October 17th).
Note: This post is ONLY for people looking for groups/group members. All other comments will be removed.

Hi Everyone!
I applied for a Professional Badge for the first time as I work in a industry that falls under the "professional" category. Does anyone know the timeline of either "approval" or "denial" of the Professional Badge?
I know the deadline to submit was a few days ago, but I'm wondering when notifications will be sent out about the status because when I log into my account it still says that I am a 2026 Daily Volunteer (I typically volunteer each year which I enjoy and will do again if I'm not selected).
Thank you!
Some of you may have seen in the local news that Starbucks may be closing a location in the Convention Center. I reached to to the Convention Center and asked and, as usual, they were very prompt and helpful.
They confirmed that the Starbucks in Lobby A is closing, but the ones in Lobby C and Lobby E will remain open. They also pointed out to me that for the past several years, the Lobby A location hasn't been open during Comic-Con because that area of the lobby has been used for ADA-related operations and mobility scooters.

Asking this on behalf of a friend that's applying for professional badge for the first time
They're mostly a content creator that covers movies/tv/games and have done interviews with actors/actresses. Would this qualify them for professional status?

I know some (many) of us ordered things through vendors on the SDCC floor. Basically, they don't have the item on hand at the moment, so you pay now and put your name and address down so they'll ship it to you after SDCC.
I purchased a dress from one of the clothing shops and orders were expected to be fulfilled in August. In September, I contacted their Etsy shop to ask for an update, expecting it to just be an ordinary delay or mix-up. They responded asking for my name and email, then promptly ghosted me and never responded to any follow-ups. After a week of no communication, I filed a charge-back, so that's not the issue.
But it got me thinking: many people probably purchased stuff, then life happened and it slipped their mind to check whether they ever got their order. So here's your friendly reminder! If you ordered something at SDCC, make sure you actually got it. :)

From the CCI email sent 10-Aug-2026:
.
"Did you attend Comic-Con 2026 with your 12-year-old child? Did they turn 13 on or before July 31, 2026? If you answered yes to both questions, then this email is for you!
Your now 13-year-old will need a Junior badge purchased for them before their next trip to Comic-Con. Because your child attended Comic-Con 2026 with you, they have gained the opportunity to become eligible to participate in our Comic-Con 2027 Returning Registration badge sale!
To take advantage of this opportunity, you’ll need the child badge number that’s on the back of their Comic-Con 2026 child badge. Your junior child will need to validate their child badge number by following the steps below:
After processing the order you’ll receive a confirmation email verifying your submission and eligibility.
In a nutshell, for your junior child to attend Comic-Con 2027 they need to purchase a badge or have a badge purchased for them. This Child-to-Junior Validation process makes them eligible to participate in both Returning Registration and Open Registration. For further information, please visit the Child Badge Policy page.
IMPORTANT! The Child-to-Junior Validation process must be completed by September 8, 2026."

Anybody else who bought the SDCC exclusive X-Men Spirit Jersey has quality issues after washing the shirt? I followed the wash instructions and plan to hang dry it. But I noticed there are multiple cracks on the print. This is just on the 1st wash.
I contacted their customer service and sent them the photos. They asked to send them back the shirt and a replacement order will be sent. After a few weeks, i recieved the replacement shirt. When I opened the package, there’s already some cracks on the back print.
Customer service is not responding to me anymore after a few emails. The design is really nice, probably one of the best but the print quality is not.
