Sept 25 hit intermediate, just now hit GM, w grind

I’ve been a casual player for 2 months or so, i’ve been thinking about trying ranked. I see when I create a game there’s an option to limit the maximum level a player can be, just wanted to know if this is something I should do or just leave off for everyone to join?
i’m a beginner obviously and want to get an idea of how ranked differs from casual before i’m going against grand masters lol

For example if there’s two players and me left.. I know one is a grandmaster and one seems like a beginner, does it change my points one way or the other which one I kill first?

Do most people look up the standings of their opponents?

Trying to figure out whats happening here. I play fixed Europe Advanced and lately it feels like im being irrationally targeted.

For example I will be over in france/Spain with a very conservative territory footprint and then the guy in russia will march over half his stack and block me from taking anything else meanwhile this allows others to runaway and snowball. These are not people I pissed off either typically they are someone I had never even attacked at all.

I would think they were colluding but they are not because the person who targets me for no reason always ends up getting killed because they are leaving huge stacks exposed while I have no option but to turtle and take second.

Its been happening almost every other game since I cracked top 100. Trying to figure out wtf is going on and thats all I can think is people want to take me out.

Where can i get my batch now?

Idk why there are so many people hacking the game right now, but there are clearly a lot of known ways to hack it, why haven’t they been patched?

I’m not a dev, just generally asking because these instances date back years, and it’s getting crazy now I’m at master rank.
