Make Friends Here
Because we constantly get "How do i make friends" posts. If you want friends just post in this thread. I'm going to make it a sticky topic. I'm also going to give you 100% foolproof tips to make friends that have worked for me all my life 100% of the time.
Here is my foolproof plan that works 100% of the time. It is a 4 step process.
determine what your hobbies and interests are.
go to places where these hobbies and interests happen
interact with people.
If you don't have any hobbies or interests get interested in something and repeat steps 2-3.
It is literally that simple.
I am an extremely abrasive and unlikeable person. I have never failed to make friends using these steps. If I can do it so can you.

This month I spontaneously decided to launch my own Classic Universal Monster inspired franchise! It's something I've always wanted to do but didn't know how to start then one day it hit me!
This is a RGV Only project focusing on showcasing the beautiful and Noir RGV locations!
The Wolf Beast: Silas Silver is a Private Detective by Day and Monster hunter by night but he's also cursed... with Lycanthropy! He can turn into "The Wolf Beast" at will but is consumed by the hunger, in this film he uses his enhanced senses to find the blood den of the vampires that have been abucting people, witness the thrills and chills!
We plan on submitting it to the South Texas International Film festival in Edinburg here's the trailer!

Edinburg Unpaid parking ticket
So I had a parking ticket for speeding and I went to the municipal court to set up a payment plan, but I unfortunately wasn't able to make the money back due to me getting into a crash and my car being my main source of income. I notified them of my financial situation at the moment and my loss of income and how I couldn't pay them back. I'm barely 18 and I live with my single mother but we are currently being evicted and are struggling to gain funds to even move out. The lady on the phone for the court was rather cold to the entire situation but I get she couldn't do much. They just said community service or talk to the judge but I have no car. Has anyone been in a similar situation with missing a payment? How much do they care I don't want to have a warrant for my arrest for anything I'm struggling with enough right now. This is Edinburg btw

Just wondering about how it is? Schedule and stuff like that. I know over the years, the pay has increased and there’s been changes throughout the valley. Got a email for them to take the test and just wondering if anybody got any experience. Thanks in advance. Any input would help

News Driver charged for intoxication manslaughter over deadly crash in Brownsville
A 26-year-old woman is now facing intoxicated manslaughter charges after her white SUV crashed into a grey car killing a 24-year-old man and injuring three others. Her bond is set at $55,000.
Another note, she also posted her out drinking at a bar on her Facebook stories just hours before the crash.
Don't drink and drive, people.

Los Fresnos The Valley has Unicorns! 🤯🦄

Is a bug not a horse tho, sorry not sorry! 💁🏼♂️🤓
Found at the Safari Park in Los Fresnos & did a little show and tell to the visitors all day before the release, this bug is one of the most charismatic bugs the valley has native but also one of the least commonly seen and always one of my favorites to stumble on!
Most active during the days peak heat/humidity & end of summer/early fall with the seasonal rains, it is an incredibly arboreal species, they prefer treetops as they can easily fly too.
Apply named Texas Unicorn Mantis!

Cameron County Valley International vs McAllen airports...
So next month, November 5th, Im flying into harlingen because all flights to McAllen were minimum 250 more than flying into harlingen. Idk why, but it is what it is. Anyone who travels often please chime in. (*Specifically looking for anyone to confirm that they have taken an uber from the harlingen valley international airport to McAllen in the last year.)
For my flight in I maybe have to take an uber to mcallen or if that doesn't work a taxi, if my cousin or aunt are busy, but in case they are Anyone have transportation suggestions. Usually i have a rented vehicle or a family member to drive me around but just incase they can't get away from work, suggestions please? Are there certain times when there are no ubers? Since harlingen is farther from mcallen than most places I would just like assurances. EDIT: I have tried to get an uber from welsaco to Mcallen and it was peak hours and never got a ride. And of course I dont fault my aunt for not wanting to pick me up from valley international, but ill still ask... although any help would be fine. Ive taken ubers within McAllen, or south padre, i took a uber from mcallen to mission but I was around trenton and 10th. Ive seen the gas prices down here it's not ridiculous or unusual to seek answers from someone who maybe ubers everyday? 🤷♀️. I took one to meet friends in progresso once but not really an uber expert of the rgv. Im just asking for help from anyone who actually knows.
Any help much appreciated!
Ps yes I know its a stupid post.

Pcp who takes molina?
Im looking for a pcp ASAP who takes molina insurance. Im chronically ill/disabled and its been a struggle to find a pcp that listens and genuinely cares who also takes my insurance. I have to leave my current doctor as he doesnt take my insurance which sucks because he really does pay attention. Ive had too many doctors and specialists undermine my symptoms and labs, brush them off as anxiety or female problems, or just be flat out rude. It took over a year just to get my symptoms diagnosed and treated through multiple specialists and even now im still not entirely stabilized. Misogyny and homophobia is also a big amongst doctors in the rgv and ive been through many all throughout from brownsville to mcallen. Chronically ill, disabled, gay/trans people, and women especially, please let me know who you see and makes you feel heard. Im so tired of having to start over with a primary care physician just for it to fall through somehow. Im in the Harlingen/brownville area but im willing to go anywhere in the rgv if its worth it. Thank you in advance and i appreciate any feedback.

What kind of antenna do you use to get channel 5?
What the title says. More for the folks in McAllen and Edinburg area. I have the cheap pvc pipe from the flea market. Yes it does work but now it’s starting to fail me. I’ve tried a few from Walmart but haven’t been super successful. Any suggestions? Maybe something that you can place behind the TV.
