Awesome I need to say this

Kevin heart has been consuming copious amounts of Lyme resonance in an attempt to astral project himself into the hexagonal storm on Saturn. He has purchased plum island to raid the former animal disease center laboratory for its reserve of synthetic Lyme disease if he gets his hand on the stockpile his kundalini will fully awaken allowing his soul to leave his physical body. Once he reaches Saturn he will dives into the depths of the storm in order to return the Homerlan which allows him to use the lesser key of Solomon to its full potential. Once he arrives back on earth he will free jabal from his sigil prison and force him to preform the York rite ritual, increasing Kevin’s height by 0.4 inches. The extra gravity from his newly gained mass will cause Ton 618 the largest known black hole in the known universe to be pulled directly to earth. Before it reaches earth it will collide with the belt of the constellation Orion alerting the Mintakan starseed which will proceed to collapse the mass of the black hole to a digestible size. Jabal will trvael to Mintaka in order to barter for the consumable black hole ultimately sacrificing Martin sheen once obtained Kevin heart will consume this black hole allowing himself to obtain a heart of 8 feet which he will use to set the new world record for the 400 meter sprint he will then retreat to a cave at the summit of Mount Makalu to live out the rest of his 800 year lifespan.

I hate how weight-loss-focused the world is

I've had a pretty rough year with my health. Ever since May I have had a lot of issues with stomach aches, headaches, etc. Still not even totally sure what all is wrong and if I have something like Long COVID or of it's anxiety or what. But anyway, I've been so stressed out over the past 6-ish months that I haven't really been eating enough every day and have lost some weight.

I don't have an eating disorder, but it's more "disordered eating" (I've talked to my doctor about it already lol). It's not that I'm avoiding eating or anything like that, but rather just end up sorta forgetting to eat a lot lately because so much else has been on my mind. Overall I've ended up losing about 15 pounds over 6 months, which isn't like dangerous weight loss or anything, BUT it's definitely not a healthy way to lose weight.

Yet, it seems like every time my weight gets brought up or I wear clothes that make it easy to see my stomach, everyone seems so happy that I've lost weight. My Mom was glad I lost the weight, my girlfriend told me I looked skinnier, etc. And yes, in some ways I'm glad I've lost some weight too, I was borderline obese, BUT, I didn't want to lose it this way! And I'm not happy that people seem to be ignoring that my lost weight is actually part of a problem I'm dealing with. It's not good to celebrate weight loss that happened through unhealthy means.

Making life harder because you had it worse is an insane take

We are in 2026 and somehow every day life is getting enshittified more and more. This is from an American perspective, so if your country does it better, I envy you.

I keep seeing posts about housing prices, wages, working hours, and people questioning the breaking point. What irks me is the replies all saying, "This generation just doesn't want to work. I used to have to work a job I hated, it's just life". They refuse to admit that they could afford a home on that job. They could take a yearly vacation on that job. They didn't have to have a spouse also working 2 jobs.

We have 300 million people in the U.S. and not enough jobs. The older generation believes everyone has to work hard and contribute to society in some type of blue collar manner. It is not feasible or possible. We have an over abundance of labor. We are working just to make the rich richer at this point. Why can't we just take a step back and look at the world crumbling around us and admit we fucked up and need to change? Why is everyone so actively against enrichment of life?

I see the same thing with electric cars. "I wouldn't buy one, they can't be worked on and they will die on the road every 30 seconds and have 2 miles of range." As an EV owner, none of it is true.

I am just tired of the oldheads who spew propaganda and refuse to allow policies to make out lives better. They are actively lobbying against the things that would lead to a better and more sustainable life for the next generation. They will then game the same system to sell their house for a 300% profit.

I am frustrated that the world is literally burning around us. Jobs don't fucking exist. Everything is too expensive to afford. AI is threatening the world itself. Yet, people double-down and tell us to suck it up and walk in and apply for a job. Network better. They tell us that they dealt with issues and they just had to figure it out. We are being told it's our fault for overspending. It's our fault for wanting a slight bit of joy outside of work. It's our fault for taking out a predatory student loan.

Do people truly believe if they just hurt others a little more that they themselves will see the benefit? Why are so many people supporting these billionaires and trillionaires? I understand the people who cannot afford to just quit and try to make an impact. I want to know what compels people to actively work against progression? Yet, it seems like there was a line drawn in the sand that a comedian making a joke about what women wear to the gym. Make it make sense.

I am so fed up with the medical industrial complex and healthcare

I've generally been a healthy person my whole life, but in the last few years, I've experienced some health issues that have made me realize the health industry is absolutely fucking useless. Doctors, pharmacists, veterinarians, etc. they're all basically fucking guessing and then taking all my money.

I had a seizure for the first time, and against every instinct I had, I went to the ER because everyone was yelling at me that I had to. I waited 10 hours to be seen. They ran a bunch of tests and, after a few more hours, shrugged and said, We don't know why it happened; you're free to go, then they sent me a $6,000 bill. No diagnosis, no treatment, but a massive bill for showing up when that's what everyone told me I HAD to do.

For years, my dog has had these recurring episodes of nausea. I've told 3 different vets, taken videos of the episodes, tracked the circumstances, and every single fucking vet has shrugged and said, "that's weird," then charged me $200. She still has them and we don't know why or how to help her.

These are just two recent examples. I'm so tired of being fucking shrugged at by the people I seek help from when something seems wrong. And I'm REALLY sick of giving my entire salary to people who do absolutely nothing for me.

We all know health insurance is an evil, bullshit industry. But the healthcare industry itself isn't much better. Doctors can't seem to help with any issues that aren't perfectly textbook, and what's more, many don't even seem to care enough to TRY. I'm exhausted.

Time to stop telling people that chorizo is not a sausage.

As someone born into Latino culture, but not always Latino passing especially in the winter, it's absolutely nerve-racking to have a non-hispanic/Latino attempt to argue with me that a chorizo isn't a sausage.

An Italian sausage is a sausage

A polish sausage is a sausage

A Mexican sausage is a sausage

A Spanish sausage isn't a sausage?

You worked at a place for a couple years that sells chorizo on the menu. Dunkin donuts. It's not my problem that you don't take the time out of your day not once to look up what a chorizo is. It says a type of sausage or it will just say Spanish sausage. Too make matters even worse it looks exactly the same shape as an Italian sausage.

If one has different spices than the other, it never changes the fact that it's a Fkin sausage.

Do you go around telling people Korean chicken isn't chicken because it has some different spices in it than what you're used to? No you don't. You just say Korean chicken. You can say it in Korean , it still means fkin chicken. Do you tell people Korean BBQ isn't a BBQ? Just because it's a barbecue that you didn't grow up around? You don't. You say Korean BBQ.

I win all these arguments by telling them that chorizo translates to sausage.

"well we don't call it sausage, we call it Chorizo"

I would except that if you were Spanish speaking. But you're not Spanish.

STFU

I make just a little too much.

I’m honestly just sick of it. I’m sick of being the person who pays every damn tax they throw at me, only to get told I “make too much” for any help. It’s ridiculous. I’m not rich. I’m not living some luxury lifestyle. I’m just barely above whatever arbitrary cutoff some bureaucrat scribbled on a form, and because of that, I get nothing.

Meanwhile, I watch people who make a little less get benefits, credits, discounts, and rebates. And good for them, but it’s insane that I’m standing here paying full price for everything while also funding the programs I don’t qualify for. How does that make sense? How am I the one footing the bill and getting zero in return?

I’m not poor enough to get help, not wealthy enough to shrug off the costs, just trapped in the middle paying for everyone else’s perks. And every time the government brags about “supporting working people,” they’re talking about everyone except the ones who actually pay for the benefits.

I’m tired of being the one who does everything right and somehow ends up with the least. I’m tired of being punished for earning just a little too much. And I’m tired of pretending this system isn’t completely backwards.

...because they can compose multiple sentences and organize them into coherent paragraphs says more about the inability of the person making the claim than the writer.

Read books instead of tiktok subtitles and you may develop some person writing style and ability, as well.

I have a great deal of concern for the future.

Mom keeping AC on at the coldest temperature in October (in the Canadian Prairies)

My mom and I live in a studio apartment with eight large windows, so you can practically feel the temperature outside indoors. It’s 7 celsius outside now. There’s so much condensation on the windows that it drips into puddles, and the air feels damp and bitterly cold. My mom keeps the AC on at the lowest setting because she gets overheated easily. I understand that, but I have joint pain and migraines that get significantly worse in the cold, and no amount of layering helps my freezing face, shivering, or nose from running. I’m also worried my cat is freezing.
No matter how many times I explain how much the cold affects me, my mom just rolls her eyes and gets frustrated that I keep bringing it up. She won’t let me get a space heater because she’s worried about fire hazards and my cat getting hurt. I’m genuinely scared about winter because if it’s already this cold in October, I don’t know how I’m supposed to cope when Winnipeg temperatures drop even further. I feel so helpless knowing I might have to spend the entire winter freezing in my own home, and I don’t know how to get her to take my concerns seriously.

I got sober to have a better life... but I feel like my life's so much worse now. I can't afford to live and my mental health is declining by the day.

I was an fentanyl addict for ~8 years. I gave up everything I had to get sober.. my job, my house, my car.. but after a year and a half of struggling with mental health and making ends meet, I'm starting to question if this was actually worth it.

Of course, I enjoy being sober and I'm very active in the recovery community. I run meetings, I'm asked to speak often at meetings and I speak every other week at the rehab that helped me. I'm helping other people as much as I can and honestly, it's the only thing keeping me going at this point. People telling me that I gave them hope and that I'm "inspirational" is one of the very few joys I have left in life.

However, the more I speak about hope, the more I feel like I'm lying to people. I make it seem like my recovery as been hard but manageable... but in reality, I struggle to get out of bed every day. When I'm around others I put on a smile and "happy" voice even though I'm suffering inside. If I expressed how I actually feel, I think I would just scare people away from getting sober.

I've been on a plethora of antidepressants over the past 20 months... I can only take certain medications because I live in a sober house but nothing I've tried seems to help. I still continue to go to trauma therapy etc. in hopes that I'll have a "breakthrough" or something but my expectations are low.

Between my mental health and not having a car, I've been struggling to keep a job. My wife has been paying my rent and honestly, it makes me feel like a failure. She's under a lot of stress too and I'm just making it worse... I just want her to be happy because she deserves it.

I'm questioning if this was worth it... if I didn't get sober I'd at least be with my wife and cat and those are the two things that make me truly happy. I gave up being miserable to be even more miserable... and alone. At least I'm able to help people I guess.

Roommate not cleaning after themselves

Does anyone know how to co-exist with roommate who lives a messy lifestyle? 25yo male living with 2 male roommates in a small 4 bedroom house. We are several months into our lease and I’m starting to notice some patterns that could eventually cause conflict if they are not addressed soon. One of my roommates seems to have trouble cleaning after himself. He is a great guy but sometimes I get really pissed off with him when I am around him. The amount of times I’ve brought the topic of cleaning up to him is concerning. It seems like each time its brought up he doesn't seem to put any actual effort into cleaning going forward. He still leaves trash and dishes in our common spaces, dishes in the sink, used pots and pans on the stove top, grocery store bags and open bags of snack food on our kitchen counters, and lets food expire in our cabinets and fridge. I don’t bring it up much and I tell myself to just leave it alone if I see it and that he will get it eventually. But I swears day and weeks will just go by and nothing has been touched. Occasionally the dishes would be dealt with but food and stains are just ignored. No joke there as been a half eaten bag of hamburger buns sitting on our kitchen island for over 2 weeks and didn’t notice it until I brought it up to him. Those buns expired almost a month ago.

His room is always messy and he never puts effort into cleaning or doing his laundry. He keeps his door open and all I see are piles of clothes, trash, and boxes full of stuff everywhere. The other day I had to walk through there when he wasn’t around as we needed some work done on our houses pluming that required me to get to our backdoor in his room. What I saw makes me worried about his mental health. Around his bed are piles of clothes and bags. At the base of his computer desk there are dirty dishes and half eaten containers of snack food. On his desk are fast-food bags, fast food drinks, soda cans, and mixed drink glasses. To get to his backdoor I have to walk over boxes, dishes, shoes, musical equipment, clothes, food, and wires.

My other roommate took notice to and we have asked him individually to clean his room several times. We have even offered to help him clean it up on our free time and he always rejects help and pushing it under the rug for later. I don't know if I am an the asshole for wishing he clean up more but this behavior is really starting to piss my off. I thought it might be going through some hard times but he just says that he is OK and I just don’t believe it. Whenever he is here he usually just sits on his phone doomscrolling or watching something the TV. He seems to always be eating something to and that something he eats always ends up in between our couch or left on it with the bag open.

I’m planning on sitting down and talking with him about all of this tonight but I’m afraid that its going to be inconclusive. Before this house we had a extremely toxic roommate who didn’t respect any of us. I really don’t want to come off as controlling or argumentative. But I’m not sure where to go if our attempts keep falling through.

If anyone can inquire it will be greatly appreciated.

Check the lock BEFORE you try opening the door

For God's sake. Where I work, there are two single use bathrooms. It seems like every time I use it, there is someone who just tries to burst in. There is a sign on both doors indicating what the lock looks like when it is locked. Just take the 1 second it takes to look instead of giving me a heart attack.

The world is not ever going to be a Utopia

Every leader current, past, and future, are screaming unruly entitled spoiled toddlers with way too much screen time and not enough designated story time who are all on a fucking playground hitting and swearing at each other with no responsible adult in sight, but the adults who are around have let them play with guns and missiles and battleships to keep them from bothering them so they can go about their day in a predictable manner. Every single one of these assholes needs a fucking time out, grounding, time away from their devices and toys, and to sit in a fucking corner so they can think about what they have done wrong. Every human being needs and wants to live peacefully, and despite the insane technological advancements, medical advancements, cultural advancements... we are still here bombing and threatening each other as if we somehow have a replay button. It is so sickening and ridiculous that the world with all of it's good still has such fucked up intent. Why. Can't. We. Just. Fucking. Chill. For. Once. Why? Why is that so fucking hard? It's absolutely not. It is human nature to take the path of least resistance. Why the fuck does it have to be so friction based. Fuck patriotism, fuck teams, fuck religion and fuck culture. It is humans at the end of the day. Why can't we just fucking be humans and be friends or at least neighbors we are annoyed by but still tolerate? Why is that sooooooo fucking hard?

How can I trust anyone anymore?

I don't really know what to say but I need to get some words down and out to someone who will listen, I feel incredibly low right now. I feel like I can't trust a single soul. And I just need to be heard.

Recently I've had what I thought was the love of my life leave for London (I live in manchester UK). We had an on/off relationship for 9 months (2 years in total) and now she's finally left my city. We had the most incredible relationship and also the worst which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. We were best friends, but argued all the time... I don't know how someone could be so nice and nasty at the same time. (See post history for details). Even though I know we shouldn't be together, I can't get her out of my head, it's every single day that I think about her. There are too many details about our relationship to mention but even though we broke up, how can someone who supposedly loves me, make a decision to leave, without even letting me know until last minute, I wouldn't dream of doing that to someone I love and if I was in her shoes, I never would have left without mentioning it to her first. We haven't been together properly for 6 months but it finally feels real now shes gone and, I feel betrayed.

On top of this, I've recently been told over the last few weeks that I'm being made redundant, at a company where some of my really close friends are. I thought this was the most stable company anyone could work for, they make upwards of £250,000,000 a year, they're a 'mutual' company and they are cutting 250 IT infrastructure jobs just like that. They always talk about the 'values' of the company, one of them being integrity and honesty, then they do me/us like that. I feel betrayed.

And last week, I went on a trip with a close family friend, long story short just before we were boarding the plane to return home, I fainted, couldn't see or breath for around 20 seconds, it was last calls for the flight, I turned and managed to tell him that I couldn't breath. A family friend, someone I've known since 4 years old, literally looked at me and left me to board the plane, I then had to wait 12 hours for the next flight to a city an hour away from my city. That's exactly how it happened. I have no words.

On top of this, I have been dating since I broke up with my girlfriend, whilst some were fun, dating seems very shallow and seems there are so many external factors that stop people forming meaningful relationships. I say this as a guy that has absolutely no trouble dating or getting dates. I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting older (34 now), dating feels more transactional than ever, more and more girls expect me to pay, not that I automatically pay or they overtly state they expect me to pay, but there's an underlying tone that it's expected. I now haven't dated for over 2 months, I have zero desire, I've lost faith in trusting people, where I didn't have much trust to being with.

I feel incredibly deflated and almost at an all time low. With all that's happened recently, I feel I can't trust a single soul and I'm better just retreating into a small little world where I can't get hurt, I want to protect the little boy I used to be from the world.

I don't really know what I'm looking for in this post, I feel upset, numb, betrayed, low and I just need to get it out.

I'm tired but still holding on

I'm freshly out of a physically, mentally and sexually abusive relationship. I was not treated like a human and was belittled a lot. Life is not looking okay. I still haven't gotten a job. I started having constant nightmares. I have ptsd and intense emotional flashbacks of the past. I'm trying my best but I'm scared. And lonely. I don't like sleeping alone or staying all by myself. Don't have enough money and am constantly having to ask my parents. Can't focus enough. I'm going to therapy but it's still generally difficult because I feel like something in me has truly died or like my ex was a demon. I still remembered how he looked at me and how small I felt. I'm in lot of educational debt and badly need a job to support myself. But everything feels multitudes harder.

I'm trying. But it's difficult. I'm tired. I want rest and some warmth and companionship. Some stability and acceptance. Although even if I get them I'll probably still keep having those nightmares.

I feel somewhat ok

I’m taking an AP Chem class, and while I do absolutely love chemistry and science I will admit I’ve been struggling. I understand everything we talk about in the lectures, I take plenty of notes, I study hard and for long periods of time, I do practice tests, ect. but i swear it’s like I get memory wiped when it’s time to actually apply it.

I’m at a point where I’m realizing I’m being too hard on myself, because I DO know it all. I understood enough if it to be placed in AP Chem in the first place, and the only thing holding me back is memory recall. And even if I don’t pass, it’s better to fail while throwing everything you have into the course than to fail after giving up. My grades are slowly improving, and so if I have to claw my way to a passing grade, that’s what I’ll do. (I have gotten better at remembering more things, so I feel a bit more confident)

I’m Tired of Feeling Stupid

For context, I’m an accountant

Twice in a row now I’ve been on job interviews where I asked situational questions rather than about my past experience. I have 4 years experience for the job but apparently I still have to prove I know what I’m doing.

I have test anxiety and this basically feels like I’m back in school taking an oral exam. The interview I had before today’s interview even gave me a timed quiz!! I should’ve politely walked out when I knew that was required.

Today I told the interviewer I felt like I was being quizzed and it made me uncomfortable. His immediate reaction was to terminate the interview and tell me “These are basic questions you should know!” I feel like I’m unqualified for jobs I’ve held on the past and had to leave due to circumstances beyond my control.

Is this how I’m going to be judged against other candidates now? Is this the new normal? I feel like all anyone wants these days is someone straight out of college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. I have a Bachelor’s in another major but earned a certificate for completing all relevant accounting courses and am CPA eligible!!

None of this matters. Experience means nothing if you don’t have the correct Bachelor’s. I feel like I need to go back to school I’m in so much doubt of my own intelligence. I know the job market sucks everywhere but this just makes it seem impossible.

What value does trading produce to the world?

I love how almost every job contributes something meaningful to society except for trading. God I'm so tired of people asking for which stocks is gonna make them rich, or how to set up a trading bot with 1000% return rate. The entire stock market is just gambling or insider trading.

Name me one benefit of trading. Every single company that becomes public instantly becomes shit because the moment they become public then all their focus is on keeping investors happy and keeping their stocks high. It's all so fake and I'm so tired of it

Mentally unhealthy because of my college batchmates

3 am rant, I am mentally unhealthy because of my college batchmates

Where do I start? Let’s Start from the beginning. I was in first year of college. I met this guy named P.
We use to go out and once he touched my lower back inappropriately and He said things about me like I am characterless (long story in short) and He moaned my name and touched his body in front of the boys of our batchmates. I cut him off. He got a girlfriend named S, who is my batchmate, we both don’t have any problems.

Once in my first year some of the boys from my batch said something ill (totally cheap and disrespectful) to a batchmate of mine and they filed a complaint and this boy P had his name as well ( he deserved it for not respecting girls!)

We had our freshers party and he touched me (he said it was a mistake but I don’t think so) and I did not like it. He talked with our senior and I didn’t like it but he tried to act like a saint and acted like a victim.

Now back to the present I am in 3rd year, I took part in some group drama and I was removed without informing and I got to knew about it today. This guy openly said if She(me) is in the play he won’t participate as he is uncomfortable and he said if a girl complaints about the guy even if he is right no one will listen to the guy and as he has been butt licking out CR he actually took him in and not me.

P’s girlfriend S told me that he is not comfortable around me and I have mentally tortured him.
I hate that I am being mentally tortured here, as if he didn’t see my name in the participation list , I am sure he did but he had to act like that in front of everyone. He is a saint and I am being a villain for taking my stand. He touched me inappropriate multiple times and said things about my character. I feel so alienated and cornered. He has turned things around for himself and I feel hopeless.

I’m tired of people acting like you’re missing out just because you don’t like something

I’m so tired of hearing the same stuff on the internet. “Well, you’re missing out!” “Well, you should give it a chance!” “Well, you’re this, you’re that!”
No! Why is it so hard for people to accept that someone doesn’t like something? Why does every little difference in preference have to turn into an argument where someone feels the need to convince you that you’re wrong?

For example, let’s say you don’t like a certain music artist or a particular genre of music. People will tell you that you’re missing out, that you need to listen to more of their songs, or that you just haven’t found the right song yet. But what if you’ve already listened to their music and simply don’t enjoy it? Why can’t people just accept that? Not everyone has to enjoy the same music, and that’s perfectly fine.

People need to understand that no means no. If someone doesn’t enjoy something, stop trying to convince them to like it or keep doing it. You don’t have to agree with their feelings, but you do need to respect them. Constantly trying to change someone’s mind after they’ve already said no isn’t respecting their boundaries.

I’m tired of people acting like you’re missing out just because you don’t enjoy the same things they do. Not everyone has to like what you like, and not everyone owes you an explanation for why they don’t like it.

Sometimes, “I don’t like it” is a complete answer. You can recommend something to someone, but if they say they’re not interested, learn to let it go. Not everything needs to be a debate.

I’m just tired of the internet constantly turning personal preferences into something people feel the need to argue about. Let people dislike things. Let people say no. It’s really not that difficult.

I hate this stupid rounding change system

I’m a broke college kid so I’m going to be nitpicky about this

Why when I went to a different Target than the one I usually go to, I find they round their change?? I’m not sure if it’s to the nearest dollar or ¢10, but I owed $15.04 and gave the cashier $20.10 (didn’t have pennies or nickels) so she didn’t have to go digging for ¢96. She gave me a 5 and I was expecting the other ¢6 and mentioned it. I’m not a confrontational person so even this gave me anxiety. I’m not sure she understood, but she starts explaining that if its ¢95 or more owed back, they round up… so basically I didn’t need to give her that extra ¢10

I decide to ask for my dime back and she ever so slowly turns to me, stares at me without blinking for nearly a minute, and slowly turns around again and starts aggressively tapping some buttons to get the change. Like I’m sorry?? What are the theatrics for?? So much fucking attitude even though I would’ve been owed back $5 regardless

I thought maybe I said something wrong or she wasn’t understanding (English didn’t seem to be her first language) but she was just being a bitch for no reason. Acting like it was coming out of her pay check but it’s literally not. God forbid a billion dollar company loses 4 fucking cents

Frustrated, lost, and ready to breakdown.

My girlfriend started getting sick the beginning of this year with pain in her stomach. She went to Kaiser who told her she had a mass in the uterus. They were not clear on what type of mass they were very vague. A nurse called her to see how she was doing because of the “cancer” my gf was confused and dumbstruck. They decided on surgery.

She had a hysterectomy, and told her it ended up it was not cancer. A few days later after recovery she started getting ill again. We came back to Kaiser and they told us the surgeon accidentally damaged her uterer in the process and urine was building up/pooling in the kidney. So they need to give her another surgery, Uterer reconstruction surgery. When she met with this new urologist/surgeon he told her the previous surgeon really fucked up.

Her next surgery they told us was a very hard/ complicated surgery. When it was done the surgeon told us it was successful. Almost a month or so later she was able to have the catheter taken out. We were very happy we were done with the worst of it. The literal day after when the catheter was taken out she got a fever and started feeling ill. So we went back. The surgeon apologized and told us the stent he put in had moved and was in a blood vessel. And further examination it appeared there was vein with practically no blood in it because it was cut open, he blamed it on the first surgeon (hysterectomy) told us she needed a third surgery to fix the uterer again and fix her Cava vein (that was cut open) .

We went back for the third surgery which was incredibly scary since she was still recovering from the previous two. The surgeon again said it was successful. She ended up having to stay at the hospital for pretty much two week because all the narcotics given shit down her intestines. She was on IVs and was unable to eat or drink water for the week and a half.

They finally released her and we thought things were getting better but we were still paranoid. Almost a month went by and then her intestines shut down again and she started vomiting, we went to ER, they were rude as always. Kept her over night, told her the scar tissue was most likely acting as an obstruction and it would fix itself. Which it did. However again when we thought she was getting better she has been getting sick every Sunday/monday. Now it’s been getting worse. This all started (first surgery) in April. It is now Oct and we have no answers and they just rush us out every time. She is vomiting, and has lost a lot of weight. Every time I hug her I feel her bones.

A woman she cleaned her house for works for a lawyer and said she would try to take a case for her but she flaked on us but kept Leding us on giving us false hope. So we found a another lady who seemed to be actively trying to help us only to let us barely now know her boss(lawyer) doesn’t want to take the case after all due to the Kaiser medical records how they worded it…. We are at a loss here and are completely frustrated because they have ruined her life with malpractice.

Fuck Kaiser fuck these shitty doctors and lawyers.

The shift to digital only console gaming is a complete disaster when games are easily over 150GB now.

Seriously, what the fuck was anyone thinking? Current gen consoles ship with like 1-2TB of storage. That's enough for like 6 games these days.

How is anyone supposed to maintain a library when your device fills up so fast because companies cannot be bothered to optimize their games.

Looked at like a creep for being a man

I (23M) am so tired of being treated like a creep just for being a man.

This past weekend, I was at a bar and ran into a buddy’s sister (21F). We met up, I bought us a round, and we started catching up. About five minutes into our conversation, a bouncer tapped me on the shoulder and told me I needed to leave. I didn’t want to cause a scene, so I finished my drink and walked out without arguing.

About an hour later, I texted her to ask if she knew what had happened. She told me that after I left, the bouncer asked her if she had left her drink unattended with me or if I had made any inappropriate advances toward her. She said no to both and went back to her sorority sisters. Apparently, it was her sisters who had told the bouncer I was harassing her and that I looked like a creep.

Look, I’m all for taking women’s safety seriously and believing women when they come forward with legitimate concerns. But, Jesus Christ, man, I can’t even have a five-minute conversation with someone I’ve known for years without being treated like a potential sexual predator.
