Just think, he could have had a chance at the Presidency but the centrist Dems couldn’t have that and he had to fight the full force of the Ds and Rs.

Good thing we learned our lesson from that :)

He lost the popular vote in the primaries both times he ran. He never had a chance because he's a dogshit politician.

He had the whole Democrat party establishment against him. He did well for being supported entirely by a grass roots movement.

He didn't. Also, if he was as popular as you people claim he is, then he should have done better. It's pretty simple.

Hell, Hillary won the popular vote against Trump but Bernie couldn't win it against Hillary.

Polls around that time gave him a much bigger lead over Trump than Hillary.

Anecdotally, I would have been a first time voter for Bernie but stayed home after he lost the nomination to Hillary. I'm sure I'm not alone. I've even heard some people who supported Bernie voted Trump over Hillary just because they wanted someone who wasn't part of the establishment

I held my nose and voted for Kamala last election, and I'll be voting Democrat in the midterms.

They just lost my vote in 2016 because they didn't give me much to vote for.

Trump had the entire Republican and liberal and media establishment against him but he overcame. Sounds like a lot of cope. Clearly Bernie didn’t have it.

Ironically, the Republicans primary is more fair if you have the money to run.

As far as everyone being against Trump, if I recall that started to change right around the time that the Russians hacked some Democrats emails.

Please explain the mechanics in Republican primaries that are more fair and the specific mechanics in the democratic primaries that are unfair
