Physical needle above a screen for the tach. Individual circular screens. Only a small rectangular screen (maybe that's even a just perch for a phone?). Physical switchgear. Hopefully this is their design language moving forward.

I'll admit, my entire life I viewed Porsches as Dentist Douchemobiles, but driving one converted me. However, I'm going for a hybrid or EV, wanting a daily driver, and I'm torn between two options for my sports car splurge: Taycan or BMW i8. I know this has been asked a ton before on this sub, but most posts are a couple years old now. Are 2019-2023 Taycans holding up? What problems should I look for? There are 2 Porsche dealerships around me. One service department said "avoid at all costs", the other said "do it, do it now".

Never want to sell. I don't get to drive it enough as I live a busy life, but specced it out since new in 2020 6 speed manual 4k miles. My first manual car I've owned.

I happened to get excited for first 911 and told dealer to add my configuration for order back in August when it was announced.. I happened to look at Mission S info and decided to check app and seems I have a freeze date already ? Its for european delivery too and shows up as part of milestones at 2/5

I didnt get any calls from SA re allocation or notifications from Porsche or the App..

Can i still change something? Calling the dealer in morning but still trying to process this and see how to approach situation.
