Never want to sell. I don't get to drive it enough as I live a busy life, but specced it out since new in 2020 6 speed manual 4k miles. My first manual car I've owned.

Something for my purists

What do we think? Was always curious of this colour, grey in the dark but greenish in the light. Photos taken by my friend Jenas!

Feels surreal typing this but I crossed off a goal set by my 8 year old self. I grew up on a dirt road in rural (see poor) Maine and remember when my aunt’s boyfriend brought his boxster to my town of 2,000 people and the thrill of riding in it down back roads. 27 years later and I got the car I’ve had my eye on for quite a while.

I’ve imagined this moment for so long and I am feeling scared to drive the car. Fully content to just look at it as silly as that sounds.

Next week I am onboarding at my local mechanic who services my BMW but his actual sweet spot is vintage Porsche.

What are the do’s, don’ts and useful lessons you can share to someone owning their first vintage car… vintage freaking Porsche!

CPO 2024 Macan Turbo Electric. $42k off original MSRP. Of the luxury EVs we drove, it was the most familiar and car like. Definitely the best for a spirited drive on the farm country twisties around our house. Also, it was available now and not in some unspecified number of months like the EX60 and iX3/5.

We like it very much so far!

Edit: The original MSRP was $130,520, it was listed for $90,xxx (can’t remember) and we got it for $88,000. It had just come off a 2 year lease with 20,000 miles, and I’m pretty sure it was a press car before that. CPO warranty until 1/2031. Purchased the car at Porsche of Chantilly in Virginia.
