Original Content Poem Missing Reflection

She moves as a melody with a sweet song in her step
Has a thirst for knowledge that knows no depth
An inquisitive eye, undeniably fly
She takes little effort to dress up and impress

Loud and flashy attire becomes polished and refined
Not a hair out of place with it’s lovely golden shine
A voice that is lyrical, never harsh or irritable
She stays stable and steady through any version of time

Hear her velvety laughter ripple through the air
Reflect on the wisdom she dispenses with care
In prose bespoke with simple elegance
A softened stroke of linguistic eloquence
Her words are your cure for dread and despair

Gifted is she with magnetic wit and charming grace
An eclectic spirit befit in a warm and pretty face
Citing poetry to move you, using logic to disprove you
Showing you why philosophy cannot be tied
To certain religious rights or race

Can this perfect persona truly be real?
Or is she a crafted ideal with no definite form
Living as an image protected from scorn
She hides behind the inner corners of the mind
Where change must take shape before action is born

So when I catch a glimpse in the mirror
It is only me who I see
Missing is that girl I know I’ll never be

Original Content Poem The one, who always wear glasses.

There is not point
In curving
The shape of you.
The way your glasses tilt,
As the perfect imagery would fail.

If you are a light,
Pass through me at a glance.
It is shy.
Under the broad daylight,
Refractions were made right.

And I am ready,
For becoming your readiness.
Just hum a word out,
Until the roses in the window smile.

Original Content Poem If You Were Here

If you could see inside my mind,
the places that we go,
the little dreams I have of us
and things you'll never know.

I'd pull you close and kiss your lips,
and hold you for a while,
I'd whisper all the things I feel
and melt beneath your smile.

I'd spend my mornings next to you,
my evenings in your arms,
and fall asleep beside you,
so safe and loved and warm.

And sometimes when I close my eyes,
I almost feel you near,
close enough to make me smile,
then wish that you were here.

But until dreams become our days,
and all our wishes come true,
I'll keep on dreaming every night
of waking up with you.

Original Content Poem Thoughts on the mind

The human mind is a fungus. Our ideas are the spores of the self, and our words carry them into the world like the wind.

Requesting Feedback Amour Fou

I really like the version of me when I'm with you
No, seriously I do
I love you

And I'll never let any hardships cross our way
These days you don't seem to miss your ex
Do you know where he is now?
Well, I can't explain what I did to him, where and how

Original Content Poem Supposed

I was supposed to be in love with you

I think

I don't know when

I don't know how

But truth is what is left

after the flesh is off the bone

in the silt and tide and earth compounds

and it seems so clear here

at the end

It was supposed to be you.

Sometimes we miss,

but this time,

it was meant.

Original Content Poem uncertainty

maybe you’ll see me
maybe you won’t
maybe you’ll hear me
maybe you don’t

maybe i’m breaking
maybe i’m not
maybe i’m falling
maybe a lot

maybe you love me
maybe you don’t
maybe you’ll change
maybe you won’t

maybe i see you
maybe i’m blind
maybe you’re different
maybe that’s fine

maybe we’re pushing
maybe too far
maybe we’re pulling
maybe apart

maybe i’m guessing
maybe it’s true
maybe i’m here
maybe i’m through

Liberated from life’s constraints
without grievances
resentments
or complaints,
afloat
on a single note
high
melodious
and sweet
present
whole

Original Content Poem Folly

Being a fool is a bliss

Words won't hurt you,

And the truth is worthless,

Because you are a fool.

Being a fool is a blessing

You don't need to face the cruel reality.

Their stares will mean nothing.

Their laugh will be just a laugh.

Being a fool takes courage

To forget everything and pretend.

Pretending to be a fool is to be happy.

Life would be easy if you know nothing.

I wanted to be a fool,

But I can't.

I can't un-know.

I can't eat everything and anything.

But I want to be a fool so it won't hurt anymore.

Original Content Poem The instruction Book

I laughed, not because it was funny, but because I’d seen it all before.

The same tired tropes, the same old pain, the same body declared a war.

An illness with an illness, a misery made art,

A slow disappearance striking cold and sharp and smart.

How many books could tell the same story and give it a different name?

How many lives could fall apart before it stopped being the same?

They made it sound so sacred, the suffering, the pain,

As though there was something lovely in having nothing left to gain.

I kept reading, half amused by how predictable it could be.

Another character hating their reflection, another line that felt like me.

And wasn’t that the strangest part, the thing I couldn’t quite ignore?

I laughed at all the things I knew, then turned the page for more.

Outside, the first real cold had settled heavy in the air,

The kind that slips beneath your skin and leaves you standing there,

The kind that makes the world go quiet, numbing you for a while,

Until you almost can’t remember how it ever felt to smile.

There were quiet lines for every day, a precise and silent count

Of taking less than you were given, measuring down the amount.

Of trying to make a body smaller, needing less to be enough.

I knew those lines. I knew that fear. I’d written my own somewhere,

Keeping track of every day I thought I took more than my share.

And still, I laughed. How could I not? They’d captured it so well,

The quiet little tragedy, the private kind of hell.

They gave the pain a purpose, made the suffering profound,

As if you needed pretty words to make a life worth writing down.

But reaching the end, I turned back, tracing every act.

The lines were still the same, the ink hadn’t moved an inch,

Yet something in the words I’d mocked made my stomach twist.

I read them again, and once again. What once felt far away

Was standing quietly in the room, with nowhere left to stray.

I’d thought I knew the story, that I’d seen it all before,

But every line I read again became a closing door.

The room grew cold. My hands held tight against the final page.

I’d laughed at all the clichés, dismissed them as a phase,

As if knowing how the story went could keep me safe from harm,

As if recognizing the trap meant I’d never lose my calm.

I looked down at the paper, at the ink beneath my thumb.

I’d spent so long believing I was different, that I couldn't be this dumb,

That this story wasn't mine to claim, that I was standing clear.

But the more I read, the less was left between myself and here.

I wanted to laugh again, to call it fake, to claim they didn't know,

To pretend the author guessed at things I’d never dared to show.

But the words stayed printed on the page, and nothing left to hide,

And for once I couldn’t close the cover and leave it all inside.

I’d picked up the book to mock the grief between every little line,

At the way they made a sickness sound so holy, so divine.

I stopped laughing for a second and put the instruction book away.

Cause I knew the book by heart,

My words on full display.
