Here's why many of Planet Coaster 2 mechanics would work well in a Cruise Ship simulator game.

I have currently been playing through the Double Trouble map recently with the career mode for the first time. I try to go into these as blind as possible and really try to experiment with designing parks and coasters in this game mode. Things have been smooth sailing so far and Iāve been really loving this map and the story behind itā¦
ā¦cue in the gold challenges.
Up until this point Iāve been assuming that the Coaster Coast side of the park would be one of the gold/platinum objectives, so Iāve been working on really fleshing out Kentaās side. Iāve got a huge pool with 3 flumes, a wave sim (which is still not making any money) tons of shops and decor. Recently I just added a sprawling rollercoaster to finish the last objective, Iāve been finding that I love making coasters that encompass the park so I basically made a huge U shape that circles half of Kentaās parkā¦and then the next objectives for gold are to build ANOTHER coaster with a 40 METER DROP AS WELL AS another pool, 4 new flumes, AND 1 body slide. Now I could maybe do 1-2 of those things, but all of them together I simply will not have enough space at all. Because of this I looked up what the rest of the platinum objectives were, assuming thatās when youād be working on your side of the parkā¦but no. I have to build ANOTHER coaster and 2 flat rides just to pour lemon juice in my freshly salted wound.
Please tell me Iām not the only one whoās been caught off guard by this. I really try my best to not cheese these levels, spending hours and hours on themā¦but I fear I literally have no other option than to throw some stuff together, but even then I donāt even know how Iām going to fit all this other stuff in this small map?? This was one of my favorite levels so far, and now Iām not sure I even wanna continue with it.

Recently I got the Toybox pack while it was on sale, the thing I was looking forward to most was using the wave sims in my waterparks. However, Iāve found that these things never make a profit, losing about $300 an hour (not including maintenance fees) and usually garnering ridiculous queue times (one time it reached 100 minutes). Is there any strategy or tips to use these things effectively? I really love these rides and want to use them in my parks, but right now itās more beneficial to just not use them at all.

I have started building this water-based roller coaster themed after Skull Island; Iāve been working on it for two days and will continue for a while longer. The coaster features three drops, each with a different angle and intensity. The first drop descends from the skullās eyes following a 360-degree loop between them, the second drops from the throat at a 60 degree incline with half a second of "airtime," and the third descends from the islandās upper perimeter, reaching a top speed of 50 mph. In front of the island, there is a pirate ship that serves as a restaurant. What do you think or change/add to this?

This is the first coaster blueprint I've uploaded to the Workshop
It's a family boomerang coaster that races through farmland and a barn, swoops past a water tower and fountains, and then crashes through an old billboard structure. From there, you freefall backwards and experience the whole thing in reverse!
I wanted to create something to celebrate the season, but I am holding out for the new spooky themed DLC teased by Frontier. So this felt like a nice side project
I've tried to keep the coaster within a defined area to make it easier to place in your own parks as a blueprint. It includes a fully custom queue and exit paths, plenty of scenery and clutter, and full lighting for night-time operation
The barn is a custom build made entirely from planks. I've also done some work on the station interior, but I've left some room for anyone who wants to customise it further and add their own touches
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! Feedback is always welcome!

Alright, after playing Planet Zoo 2 for a while since release now I can't really go back to the foliage we have in PC2. :D
There are incredible pieces in Planet Zoo, especially all the foliage stuff. Since I love building a lot of nature in my parks I would be so, so happy to get a foliage pack.
Like not a full on DLC, just some (or a lot of hehe) foliage.
I've read this here before, but maybe - just maybe - Frontier is reading this and thinks "hell yeah". One can dream, right?

I donāt post my progress on my parks a lot but after a couple parks Iāve really started to like how Iāve put together a park. This is my progress on my new Airtime brand park called Airtime Studios. Inspired by Universal Orlando and Disneyās Hollywood Studios.

Hello,
I used to be able to play Planco 2 fairly well - my PC isnāt amazing but good enough to run the game. After the weather update, which was the first update released after I bought the game, Iāve only been able to run the game for around 5 minutes on a map until it crashes.
This happens on any maps - even empty sandboxes - and I canāt figure out why. Iāve tried numerous attempts to fix this:
- uninstalling and reinstalling the game,
- running it on lower graphics settings,
- verifying game files on steam,
- running the game in windowed mode,
- updating graphics drivers.
Anyone else had an issue like this?

So I want to have a dark ride with a separate loading station and unloading station. Like they get on the ride through the queue and then unload in a gift shop or something. But I cannot figure out what the loading stations want from me š„²š„² I'm new, so help is very much needed!!!!

I picked up PC2 a few months ago. Love it. Only really played sandbox. But I can't get a park started. I have 4 parks I've abandoned/ruined/not happy with.
How to you make a solid start? Rough layout of whole park. Start at the front and work back?
Thanks

Neither can the big companies. Iām staying at Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove, California. It is an indoor waterpark and hotel. I wanted to share with the community some of the architecture so you can see whatās on top, inside and out. Most of the slides here start inside, go outside then end back inside. From the 5th level of the parking garage I can see the lobby roof and itās filled with more ac and heating stuff that I have no idea what it all is but Iāve been playing these games since RCT1 so as a fan of details i thought id share with you guys. -American player

I've wanted this since Planet Coaster first came out almost 10 years ago, just a generic auto-tunnel builder like in NoLimits 2. You can toggle on or off, and maybe there's a couple options, like a concrete tunnel or a wood tunnel, but just something that is generic looking that builds itself so that I don't have to spend 2 hours messing around with the honestly not great terrain tools to make everything perfectly line up with my tunnel's frame.
At least with RCT3 there was a grid so you could just build around the grid and have terrain changes follow that grid. I just need something because every time I have to build a tunnel I completely loose my mind!

Iāve been having trouble since the last update to load the workshop on my steam deck. It works fine on my desktop and ps5, but it just loads forever saying, ātrying to connect to the workshopā. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

I still need to find the motivation to continue this project. Wish it was as "easy" as building Python :/

Sometimes I like to go and visit certain parks on the workshop like they are actual parks so what are some good ones I should visit?

Ive never tried custom supports before, but I tried to make them accurate to B&M inverts. Do they look alright? Havent added footers yet as I might change the terrain a bit btw

I've been trying to connect to the Workshop all day to download something, but it keeps saying "disconnected." I can't even access my profile or my franchise park is there a server-side issue, or is the problem on my end?
