Hong Kong Switching from S26 Ultra to Honor Magic 8 Pro (Global/HK version) via WondaMobile, good choice or risky? USA

I’ve been on Samsung for a couple years now, S25 Ultra and now the S26 Ultra, and I’m thinking about jumping to the Honor Magic 8 Pro. The one I’m looking at is on WondaMobile, listed as Global Version (Hong Kong model).

I've never ordered from them before so I could use a voice of reason here. Part of me is worried I’ll end up with some random unit that gives me pop-up ads, etc. or that it’s really the Chinese version with a different label on it. I need it to be the real global version since I’m in the US but spend a few decent stretches in Europe every year.

Is there anything comparable I should be looking at instead, maybe the Air version? No horrible stories about WondaMobile, compared to Trinity it seems. Appreciate any input.

Anyone using flagship phones other than Apple/Samsung?

I’ve been on a Samsung S23 Ultra for 3 years now. Great phone, but honestly I’m tired of paying premium prices just for the brand.

Recently tried out a friend’s Tecno (around 90k PKR) and was surpriseds with olid battery, smooth performance, good camera, and display quality that didn’t feel “budget” at all.

So I’m curious:

  • Has anyone here used flagship‑level phones from Tecno, Infinix, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, or Redmi?
  • Which models stand out in terms of value for money?
  • Any long‑term reliability issues I should know about?

Looking for real experiences before I decide on my next upgrade.

I live in Italy and the devices are almost the same price. For what I know poco has a better battery while xiaomi has a better camera and a slightly better CPU. What do you suggest? Thank you!

OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini vs OnePlus 15R?

I've been using a Samsung A52 for almost 5 years and can't decide between these two phones. My priorities are battery life, minimal heating, stable software, smooth multitasking, and good cameras (mainly nature, landscapes, and occasional videos). I don't really play games. I also want a phone that stays smooth and reliable for another 5–6 years. Which would you recommend, especially based on real-world experience?

us Phone for my wife

I'm looking for a midrange phone, max 500 euro (600 euro if really needed), for my wife. Her pixel 7a is broken and we need a new one.

We have a toddler, so the photos/video's are important for us. 256 gb storage seems like a good fit. She only uses her phone for the basic (social media) apps etc...

Any good ideas? Having a hard time to pick "the best" one for her needs/budget.

Italy Looking for a good phone for emulation, with a couple extra requests

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a phone I can use for emulation and other heavy gaming duties. I am looking for:

-Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chipset or better

-MicroSD slot

-open bootloader

-(optional but strongly appreciated) 3.5mm jack socket

I am OK with a model that's a few years old, or with a refurbished phone, as I'd like to keep bugdet at 500€ max. I'm also OK with any brand.

I know this is a hard request, which is why I came here! I tried asking to an AI before coming here and it recommend a few Xperia phones but I was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions

Edit: forgot to add I live in Italy

  1. samsung s25 5g snapdragon 8 elite
  2. oppo reno15 pro mini

what i want:

  1. good camera, like actually good camera, long exposure, flexibility for RAW exports, good video quality, better zoom, telephoto( i dont know the meaning though).

I am not a gaming guy, i do play CODM sometimes(once in a year), but ig any good mid range phone can handle it not a big deal ig

i am confused in battery
s25 has 4000
oppo has 6200

also based on youtube and other things whichi chcked, they said s25 battery might look low on paper, but its processor handels it.

oppo is eveything, but its just it dont have raw export thing, its just give you proccesed ready to post images and stuff

SO GUYS PLEASE, HELP ME DECIDE, IF ANYONE HAVE THOSE ABOVE PHONES TELL ME WHATS GOOD WHATS BAD IN REAL LIFE EXPEREICE, AND ANY EXTRA RECOMMEDNATIONS YOU WANT TO GIVE

Poland OnePlus 15 Chinese vs Global or Should I Buy a Different Phone?

I'm planning to upgrade my phone and will be using it in Poland. I'm currently considering the OnePlus 15, but I'm also open to other recommendations.

12 GB RAM / 256 GB storage minimum.

A very smooth and responsive UI, fast animations, no lag, and excellent day-to-day performance.

A good camera, although performance and software smoothness are more important to me.

My biggest priority is bootloader unlocking and custom ROM support. I want to be able to unlock the bootloader, have the freedom to modify my phone. I don't want to buy a device only to discover that the bootloader cannot be unlocked.

I'm also open to other brands, but I'd prefer to avoid Xiaomi, Nothing Phone and Google Pixel.

Which phone would you recommend for my needs?

Thanks!
